I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Sapa. If you are only going for the exterior look of the hotel, it gets the job done, however qualify, service, and amenities were severely lacking. First of all, the check in process was painful and long. We already had reservations made months in advance, yet check in took nearly the entire day. When we arrived, the rooms were not ready, and on top of that, they changed the terms of agreement and applied additional charges to our reservation. For one of the rooms, the bathroom had no soap in the containers and the bathroom flooded once the shower was used. For two rooms where they said there were 3 beds, which we paid extra for, the third bed was actually a shabby cot, not even a real bed worth paying extra for. Once we got our rooms, there were also large bugs flying around and once we notified them, they brushed our concerns off. Additionally, the rooms are not soundproof and you can easily hear conversations from the next door rooms and hallway. Our original reservation had free breakfast for all 4 rooms, but then the hotel told us that only 2 rooms would get free breakfast and the other 2 would need to pay if they wanted breakfast. We felt that this was very dishonest and they wanted to keep charging us for additional things.
