"Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."

A secret retreat in the Périgord

"A simply wonderful stay in a most beautiful location. The tranquility, stunning views and super pool allowed us to completely relax. The short walk through the countryside into Agonac enabled us not to use transport everyday & the added benefit of the rail station was another plus. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Lauren discreet yet there if we needed him and Collette a phone call away. We would absolutely love to return next year. The Originals City, Hôtel Régina, Périgueux

"The Originals City, Hotel Regina offers a reasonably priced, clean and enjoyable stay. The breakfasts are generous, the bathroom was newly fitted with a large bath, the staff are friendly. The only problem is poor wifi reception."

"Hotel is kinda cute. cardboard walls. You can hear everything from the other rooms including the toilet part. Staff is extremely ignorant. They do not have the caliber of hôtel to support their attitude. Simply avoid that place. Not worth it. "

"The property far exceeded our expections.There was nothing we could fault.Host Cathy was extremely welcoming and helpful. Description of the property did not do it justice. Would definitely recommend to either a group of friends or a large family."
