Incredible decor, such a comfortable stay. The host was responsive at all times and a small issue we encountered was immediately corrected along with a lovely bottle of red wine delivered for the minor inconvenience. We will be back!

This home - You can feel the host's caring hospitality in setting it up; You are immediately "at home" upon arrival, everything simplified and accommodating. - made our family stay so easy, joyful, harmonious, uplifting. We felt so blessed. Bright, clean, beautiful, fresh, so thoughtfully, efficiently, comfortably, furnished and laid-out, every supply you could need, surroundings and neighborhood welcoming, inspiring. You can walk along the river, within the neighborhood and to a local harbor. Easy short drive to downtown St Joseph and nearby amenities, activities, walks, beaches, hikes. Neighborhood is gated so coming and going felt very secure. Even a neighborhood pool and jacuzzi which were still open and heated as of October 20! And greenspace and a neighborhood playground. Host is above and beyond.

Awesome house in a great location. Came here with friends for a golf trip and everyone had a wonderful time staying here. Had good communication from the property owners the entire time. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely try to stay here again.

A wonderful property for our stay. We enjoyed the owners boat dock close to the house. Friends in the area could dock there and join us for lunch. I loved that there were extra dishes , glasses, and cups. And an extra fridge in the garage! Most rentals have the minimum.My grandson especially enjoyed all the games, and being on the park where he could enjoy the playground. He also loved spending time at the pool. An abundance of beach towels was much appreciated.The house is stylish, comfortable, clean, roomy, exceeded my expectations. We all felt at home. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is an amazing vacation property! Close to town and in a great community. We loved walking every morning to see the boats and enjoyed the pool! This is one of the best rental houses we have ever stayed it. Very thoughtful on amenities and supplies. Traveling with two toddler can be challenging but this house had everything we needed. High chairs, stools, toys, pack, and play, bibs and even sounds machines, you name it they had it! Also the kitchen was stocked so well. Even had a coffee grinder for some local beans I picked up. If you’re looking in this area, just book it! You will not be disappointed. Very stress free rental and the kids loved it! Owner is delightful and even recommended some kid friendly places for our family.

This is a great house in a gem of a neighborhood, with thoughtful amenities and plenty of room for a large family (we had 8). Convenient for all of the activities in St Joseph and a pretty quick drive up and down the coast for some variety. Highly recommend!

5 stars is not enough for this property

We stayed here this past weekend, and already making plans to come back next summer and stay longer. The pictures and description do not do it justice and our expectations were far exceeded. Aside from the fact that the property itself is beautiful, modern, spacious, clean, and with a really nice pool and grounds, it’s the little details that make all the difference. Debbie and Mike have thought of every little thing you might need/forgotten to bring. It doesn’t matter, it’s already there. The garage alone had everything imaginable for the kids and adults alike to play with. I could go on and on.. Also, I want to mention how underrated St. Joe is. We’ve only ever done Saugatuck and South Haven which we love, but we didn’t expect to love St. Joe just as much, if not more. We can’t wait to be back to our new favorite place and house.

FAMILY PERFECT

This home was the perfect vacation spot for our family of 4 kids( 7,6.5,4 and 1) The owners provided a clean ,kid friendly environment .Great books, toys, game room, high chair, pack and play and age appropriate cups,plates and utensils. The kitchen had awesome gagets and outdoor grilling. The pool was a short walk from the house. The owners provided great pool and beach equipment. Our kids loved the bunk beds, big tub and game room . The owners even stopped by the first day to welcome us . A GREAT STRESS FREE HOUSE.

Great Vacation!

I loved this property and we had our family of 5 then my mother and my husbands father so it was big enough for us all! I try to choose places that we would want to hang out in and relax, not just sleep. I cooked most of our meals and appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was! They even had salt and pepper grinders and olive oil. I also like that there were plenty of kit towels and garbage bags, dish soap in a nice pump and a huge supply of dishwasher pods. I usually have to bring all those things! All the baths had top of the line pump hand soap and shampoo/conditioner and bath gel! Plenty of pots and pans and everything I needed to make any meal. We loved eating on the deck as well as sitting by the fire table at night. Very comfortable furniture and beds as well. We used the pool and hot tub every night and it was a very short walk from the house. We had a nice dinner at the Planks restaurant and the Silver Beach pizza place on the beach. Silver Beach is one of my favorite public beaches with the splash pad, trains, snack shack , good bathrooms, tons of volleyball nets and a playground. You can’t beat it! One day we drove 45 min North to Saugatuck and had a fun pontoon boat ride then shopped in their quaint downtown area. I liked how close we were to other fun places in Michigan. The owners were always responsive if I needed anything or had any questions. I would definitely come back to this house again!

This is the perfect place to stay! 5 adults and 5 kids ages 4-12 slept very comfortably. We loved everything about the house and location. The kids played in the garage a lot and loved the pool,playground,and grassy area for soccer. It was very clean and check in was easy. When we had only 2 questions, the owner responded immediately not 24 hours later like some places.Thank you!

They thought of everything!

Going on vacation with small children is always a struggle. You inevitably forget to bring something critical! But this house had everything we needed, from step stools to potty seats and even a high chair with bibs and kids dishes and silverware. For once I actually over packed the kid stuff because they had everything we needed.

Wow- this was the perfect home for our family vacation especially having our grandchildren with us. The location is perfect with a close proximity to the beach, pool and playground within a serene atmosphere. The house is perfectly organized, very clean and wonderfully appointed. The hosts have thoughtfully provided small extras that mean a lot. We especially appreciated having lots of beach towels, beach chairs, a fold up cart to transport the chairs from the car to the beach as well as beach bags to pack it all. A big thank you to our hosts!

Great for families with kids

This house was just as described! Clean, bright, and updated. The host responded very quickly to questions and made check in easy. The check out process was also very simple. The house had everything you need, especially if you have kids. Kid friendly dishes, silverware, step stools and potty seats in the bathrooms, sound machines and night lights in the bedrooms, and simple toys in the living room. Lots of games and beach supplies as well. The pull out sofa beds aren’t that comfortable for adults, but work fine for kids. Our family of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 3-7) would stay here again!

Wonderful family vacation

We could not have loved our stay more. The home was beautiful and the layout was perfect. There were so many little touches that were so appreciated. The sound machines in all bedrooms, the garage of games, pool towels packed neatly into a wagon for easy transport, a kitchen with anything you may need including a meat thermometer! The property is steps away from the pool, and the back deck opens onto a grassy area and a park where my kids played catch. When we wanted to go to town or silver beach it was maybe a 3 minute drive. You could not ask for a better location. Our 2 small families were able to share this amazing place and make so many memories. We cannot wait to come back next year.

Immaculate and thoughtfully stocked

We stayed with our elementary aged kids. You can easily tell how much care the owners have taken to update the house to make a great vacation rental. It’s clean, everything is labeled, there is plenty of room and there are tons of activities. Our girls immediately found the magnet tiles while we unpacked, our boy played air hockey. There were literally zero ”I’m bored”s the entire stay. Needless to say we will be back next year!

Great 2nd stay here!

We loved staying here for the 2nd summer in a row! The house is so nice and set up with everything you could need. Our kids love the garage they turned into a game room, riding their bikes around the neighborhood, and going to the pool. The location is great and so close to many places. Staying here makes for a great vacation and my kids are already asking when we can go back :)
