« Lovely property in beautiful setting with great view from balcony.Tight access to the house but easy to find and ok once navigated.Overall well equipped although an outside airer/washing line would be useful.Salcombe and surrounding area is stunning with great beaches and lovely eateries, shops etc. »

« On first arrival the cottage was lovely; a bit quirky but looked as if it would meet our needs. However, considering the cottage slept quite at least 8 adults there wasn’t enough seating in the TV room to accommodate that many. The TV did not have BBC channels so we couldn’t watch Strictly on the Saturday! A smart TV would be better as many people have subscriptions to streaming services. Also the TV in the big bedroom but want connect by aerial; there was an aerial but it was too short to reach...

« This property is ideal for a large family group. We had teens at 16 years to their grandparents at 80 and the house worked well for all of us. The property is clean and well presented but still practical so you can relax in it. It was very well set up in terms of equipment and facilities. The hot tub and sauna were a surprising godsend to our break, giving us plenty of things to do around the house when the weather wasn’t fantastic. « I’m almost loathed to provide this review in case the house becomes so popular we can’t book it again. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and perhaps the most quintessentially English view I have ever seen, with the sea to your left and the national parks protected valley to your right. A few mins walk to north sands means you have the beach on your doorstep and an easy walk into town or south sands gives you the perfect location.
