Host was great. House was mostly clean. However there was a horrible cat pee smell that was throughout the house. I know the host said they spray for bugs but we found multiple cockroaches throughout the house, even in the kitchen. The vents were very dirty and falling from the ceiling. The stove was disconnected and took some figuring out. There are also many cats that just are out and about all over the outside.

The house had everything we needed, and we were able to have our pets with us. There are three bedrooms and two baths, which was perfect for our group.The home is in an older neighborhood, but all of the homes seemed to be well kept. We found the house to be very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, but we didn't cook. Our high school band was competing for State at the Alamodome, which was only a five-minute drive. We were also near good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was great for our group. It’s a short drive to the downtown area and the property has been nicely updated on the inside. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. We brought our small Shihtzu and it was ideal for having a contained area in the backyard for him. The neighborhood does look a little iffy but overall it was fine. The only real issue we had was the neighborhood seems very active at night- loud music came from several of the close neighbors well past 1am, several loud dogs barking all around us and there is a train that runs very close so noise from that can be heard. This may not be an ideal option for someone who is bothered by a lot of outside noise.

Overall my stay was pleasant. I was expecting one additional 1/2 bath based on the listing, but that wasn’t a huge deal. The front and back porches were nice. The kitchen worked very well for prepping meals and had plenty of dishes. Figuring out the lights was a little tricky, but eventually got them down. If you’re looking for a decent, affordable, clean space to stay, near the Riverwalk, this will meet your needs and give you some of the conveniences of home (making meals on-site, doing laundry if needed, hanging out in the backyard, etc.)

We had a great stay at the property for a weekend getaway. We frequent the area and are glad we chose this place to stay. The backyard was where we spent most of our time while at the property, with the spacious covered deck, cowboy pool, and play set it was a hit with all of us. The house was clean and tidy, with access to everything we needed to keep it that way. The kids enjoyed playing the video games when rain hit and outside wasn’t an option. The location was perfect for going to all things in San Antonio, with a quick ride to everywhere we wanted to go. The neighbors weren’t an issue at all. Parking can get tight at night, but that’s to be expected when it states in the listing about parking. But we had one vehicle and was alway able to park in the driveway.

This must be the place!I utilized this property for a small family vacation. The location of this unit was perfect. Located a walkable distance from the Blue Star complex and a 5min drive from everything downtown. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. Lots of cute cats at night too! The property itself is well maintained. The general vibe and decor of the unit is perfect. The beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable. I could have spent the whole week in the master bed. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the board games provided. The pool was a bit warm for us, but we expected that in June in Texas, so we didn't get to use the pool much. However, the backyard was lovely and I enjoyed watching the rain from the patio. The hosts were super responsive and eager to accommodate our needs. A property. A location. A hosts.

SeaWorld Riverwalk Family Weekend

My 10yr old, 20yr old and 23yr old college kiddos, and my husband and I had the best weekend in San Antonio. Casa Pajaritos was a home away from home and had every amenity we could have wanted. The neighborhood was so quiet and very convenient to everything. The grocery store was right around the corner and we had meals at home, just like home. The host was so generous and made himself available for us with anything we needed during our stay. 10 out of 10 for sure!!

Quiet, wonderful neighborhood. House has been stylishly remodeled. Kitchen is beautiful and master bathroom is spa-like! We took our shih tzu and he had a great backyard..no need for walking and leashes! Close drive to activities. We had a great time!

Perfect Family Getaway

We needed a safe, comfortable place to meet our adullt child who lives across the United States with our fur baby (an Australian shepherd) for Thanksgiving. We wanted a place close to the airport, parks, shopping, and the Alamo because we had less than a week. This place had everything we needed and some extra perks (porch and grill). We felt safe and in a quaint neighborhood that was used to animals and family. We had an awesome stay in San Antonio.
