Great Hidden Place!!
We enjoyed staying at this house while visiting San Antonio! It was perfect for our family and a great price for what we needed. We were a little nervous when we first arrivied, but were very happy with the privacy.

Living area and kitchen are great. Bathroom is small and has barn door that is difficult to close. Loft is not easy to get in and out for adults. Need to walk through grass in order to get to entrance.

Little Casita
Beautiful little cottage. Lovely neighbourhood. Great to jog around. We had a car so it was relatively easy to get to the nearest food stores (HEB and Walmart) to pick up food supplies. Nice drive also through the San Antonio suburbs to the city centre and the mission churches. A little pot (saucepan) to cook with would have been nice but we managed with the microwave. Thank you!

Perfect little place
The property is exactly as described. The only thing that is undersold is how responsive and helpful the manager is! They helped with the simplest of questions with no hesitation. Bed is very comfy and the decor is adorable! My young son and I felt safe moving around alone, even at night. Quick note: AC/Heater unit in kitchen ceiling is controlled by remote mounted near door. Parking is on the street but very close to entrance.

Short Getaway
At first glance it seems like a nightmare is about to unfold, but don’t let the outside deceive you. Once i step through the door, MIND BLOWN!!!! It was better than expected! Quite, Elegant, Cozy, Comfortable. It even came with an electronic fireplace, granite Countertops, comprehensive Cutlery (which is unheard of). I usually travel with my personal Cutlery roll, but this time i didn't have to unpack it. The atmosphere was very inviting withthe seasonal themes to include a Christmas tree, throw pillows, plush blanket and stockings. The walk-in shower is a rainfall dream and large enough for group showers (if you're in to that kinda thing). Would definitely book this again on my next visit!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a couples escape or a small group trip.

1) Expedia has listed as pet friendly, once confirmed UNREFUNDABLE room, THEN received email from VRBO reading NO PETS, tried to message host thru VRBO, no response - once arrived, see there are over 6 dogs in an enclosed area RIGHT IN FRONT of the converted garage which is the listed house. Horrible smell & constant barking all night long thru paper-thin walls. 2) bathroom door has an improperly installed BARN DOOR. difficult to close (& never fully closes since i can see anyone who walks by if using the toilet) & swings erratically. Bathroom itself is extremely tiny with no area to place a bag on & only 1 towel rack located INSIDE the shower. 3) limited curb parking. was in truck & had to make sure wasnt blocked in OR blocking neighbors driveways 4) since no key provided, even after entry, was not given instructions how to lock door, had to call to get instructions how to lock the door to leave the property.

Wonderful Hidden Gem
This little gem of a place was such a cute little Spanish setting that was hidden behind the house of the owners. It felt like we were away from the city and in our own little town. Maria was so kind and sweet and if we needed anything she was there. You must check it out!

Check was exactly as advertised, and they even allowed us to check in a few minutes early since we got in town earlier than expected. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be using again, when needed.

Lovely Casita with charm
The Casita was in the back of the owners house...not connected to the owners home. Charming place to stay! Very clean, cute and cozy. Owners were very nice when we reached out to them about the lock boxes on the house. Everything you need for a few nights stay was there... microwave, coffee pot, wine glasses and an air fryer. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This property is amazing. I stayed a whole week in the house and loved it. It’s quiet and extremely well taken of. It’s like having a get away from everything. You can tell the owners value the people who stay there and the experience they have. It was so nice I’ll be trying to book this property every time I come to San Antonio.

I had a wonderful stay at this little casita located behind a home in a residential neighborhood. The price was excellent and everything was consistent with the pictures and description. The hosts were very nice and communicative. The only thing to be aware of is that the shower water pressure is extremely low, so be prepared to bathe in a trickle. Even so, I’d definitely stay here again.

Cute little place!
This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for a dance convention. The 2 queen beds had GREAT linens and the place was decorated so festive for Christmas. Loved the fast internet and comfy couches. We used the minifridge and microwave. Easy checkin and good communication from host!

Cozy & small cabaña style home
A very nice place. A small cabaña style home on the owner's property. You can cook meals and enjoy the yard between the two buildings. It fit our needs of 2 adults and 1 child. The owners were very accommodating and the location was clean with a fresh look. Not game changers but worth mentioning: limited hot water and maneuverability is tough in some spots.

We checked in a 4:00 there was no coffee pot I messaged the host, she brought one over at 8:00 we had already went and bought one. There was no stove just a hot plate. There was a mini refrigerator that didn't have an ice tray. I had booked Friday through Sunday we left at 8:00 Saturday morning. The only good thing I can say is the bed was comfortable.

Ok if you are not big
Overall the ptoperty is nice. The lisitng online doesnt have clear puctures as to what to expect for space. Also it isnt listed that there is a hot plate for cooking only thing listed is the microwave and air fryer. Thise are small issues the buggest issue we ran in to is the sleeping arrangements are not ment for larger people. As we are both over 6 foot 3 and hevier built the beds would not accomodate our size and needed to use airmattresses as to nit cause dammage to the property. The limited space to get in the shower posed a priblem as well however found a way around that. The space would be perfect for smaller people especially kids just use caution if you normally need extra space is all.

No Shower!
The fact that the previous reviews didn’t mention extreme low flow shower is shocking! There is a trickle of water that comes out of shower head! Literally cannot shower with no hot water and trickle that does come out! We left next morning and had to check into hotel! They need to advertise there is no shower!!!

Our one year old loved it
This was our first trip out of town with our toddler and it was perfect for what we needed. In a quiet residential neighborhood and the neighbors are kind. Lots of cute details in the house and the loft bed above the regular bed would be great for a family with elementary age kids. Small private yard in front of the house which is behind the owners home. Great value for the price, definitely recommend. The host was also helpful when I needed to change my reservation dates.

Cute, cozy, and convenient!
We had a lovely time exploring San Antonio with the K-Cita as base camp! Nice and secure, private but with on-site hosts. For future improvements, I would recommend a latch on the bar wood door (it creaks and groans when the wind catches it), a stronger flow shower head, and stops on that bathroom barn door so it stays closed when it should! The beds and bath linens were heavenly, and I’m pretty picky! We didn’t cook there, but sure appreciated the coffee pot and microwave. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Perfect home away from home.
We really enjoyed our stay, being able to "come home" after a long day at Schlitterbahn and also Fiesta Texas was really nice. We know know where we will stay next time we come to town. The only thing is the decorative door to the kcita should have some kind of latch on the inside to keep the wind from opening it. On our 2nd night it was a little windy and kept slamming making a lot of noise.

Price and location was good. Quiet neighborhood, we felt safe there. Our only complaint would be that the hot water barely lasts long enough for one shower. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

It was very clean and fresh when we got there. Not hard to find at all. Only con would be the restroom door with limited privacy but we fixed it by putting a bag in front to push it back. I forgot something and they were enough to send my item back. Would definitely stay there on my next visit to San Antonio.

Nice little place for a weekend trip
We overall enjoyed our stay here. I stayed with my 10-year-old daughter, and it was the lerfect size for us. It would probably be a little too cozy for any more than 3 people. For the price, I don't think you can get much better! Here is a breakdown of some pros and cons we encountered: Pros Location - 10 minutes to Sea World and 20 minutes to Downtown/River Walk Very clean Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows! Cozy and well-decorated Very nice outside area Roku on TVs for streaming Very fast responses from owners Cons Upper bed was not made Strange/uneven stairs going up to the upper bed - my daughter hurt herself a few times getting up there, but eventually got the hang of it. Refrigerator did not keep our food cold No cooktop or oven - we didn't need it, just something to note. There was a microwave and airfreight, though. Plumbing in the bathroom sometimes smelled very bad. Almost no hot water - it lasted maybe 5 minutes before going cold. No bathroom privacy with barn door No lamps - just a personal preference, but it would be nice to have a couple of lamps around for light without needing the bright overhead lights. Even though there are a few areas of improvement, I would definitely stay here again!
