Everything was great. Parking spot for property will only accommodate a mid size suv or smaller vehicle, but I was always able to find parking on the street.
So comfortable, we felt like we were at our own home! Super close to Belmont Park and the beach! We just absolutely loved our stay! We will definitely stay here again!!!!
Amazing home in the heart of Pacific Beach. Perfect for Spring Break and work vacation!
It was a combination trip with my family and with my kid's friends having to enjoy Spring break. Beautiful airy home steps away from the beach. Lovely kitchen and bar q que set up. The home had great comfort outdoor set-up spaces for work and enjoying a vacation! Host were very accommodating with the check in and time needed for the check-out. Very clean just as mentioned. Highly recommend!
The location couldnât be better, walking distance to a lot of different activities. When we first arrived house appeared clean but on closer inspection not so much. The floors really could use a good scrubbing. The bottom of our socks can prove it. Also we had a big problem with ants. In the kitchen they got into all of our food and were in the sink and all over the counters when we woke up each morning. Also had ants in the two upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. It really made the stay unnerving. The other thing I noticed is the throw blankets in the living room were full of sand.
Overall this is a good property. But we did find a few things that were frustrating.
Pros-
Great location! Just north of Belmont park so itâs quiet, but a very short walk to food and activities. Itâs also very close to the beach! I wasnât sure from looking at the map, but really, itâs like a 30-60 second walk to the beach.
All beds were comfortable and unit was well stocked and decorated beautifully. The only thing we wished we had was ziploc bags in the kitchen. But there was extra toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap and laundry soap.
Cons-
The biggest con was host communication. This unit is hosted by Vacasa and they were not responsive through VRBO. I sent them several messages (5 days prior to arrival, day of arrival and a few days after arrival) and they did not respond to any of those. I had to finally call the Vacasa number to get any help. I feel like if they list through VRBO then they should be able to manage their listings through there as well.
Parking. I feel like this was misleading in the listing. They give the dimension of the walkway you are supposed to park in, but I didnât know the dimensions of the car we would be given by the rental agency. We had a mini van and had to back it in (which was challenging to say the least given the tiny alley), pull the mirrors in and climb out the back hatch because it was too tight to get out any door. If you had a compact car you would be ok. There isnât any street parking available in the area due to the population congestion so this was very frustrating.
Ants. We did have ants on the kitchen counters, bathrooms and a few even made their way into the beds. If I could have gotten a hold of the host, I would have requested some ant traps. I do realize this is common near the beach.
Overall, this is a good, clean place in a great location!
We enjoyed our stay! The location near the boardwalk is so fun. We took many walks up and down. The home had almost all you could want. Very clean and well appointed. They had a blender and Keurig and coffee maker. All the kitchen tools you need. The beds are big and soft (maybe a bit too soft for my old bones). The management team at 710 was very responsive, they offered a text option for any request we had.
We didnât know that there was a storage unit outside with the beach toys and boogie boards. Donât miss that if you rent. I would have loved if there were beach cruisers as well. Had to rent those from the nearby Cheap rental shop.
The parking spot was really tight for the SUV, climbing out the tail was not my favorite task every time I had to get in or out.
We would definitely consider this home on our next trip to San Diego.
