Bon hôtel dans un quartier à éviter sans voiture
Hôtel très correct mais : La première nuit, des voisins de chambre (au dessus ? À coté ?) ont beaucoup discuté et mis de la musique jusque 2h30 du matin La deuxième nuit, des jeunes femmes à notre étage sont rentrées bruyamment vers 00h30 puis se sont douchées La troisième nuit, des détonations de type arme à feu ont retenti dans la rue, à 3h30 (10 détonations), puis à 4h30 (10 détonations suivies de 21 détonations) Enfin les 800 mètres qui séparent l’hôtel d’Union Square sont désespérantes à cause de la grande concentration de homeless

Très bel hôtel avec une excellent service à la clientèle de la part de Esther, Steven et Ana. Par contre, le voisinage de l’hôtel est remplis de sans-abris. Le jour ça va, mais le soir et la nuit c’est moins accueillant et semble moins sécuritaire. Il y a plusieurs lignes de transport en commun près de l’hôtel ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement.

The hotel and especially the rooms are very basic. Not as pictured. The room is furnished very minimal and the carpets seem old and dirty. The hotel is situated in an area with a lot of homeless people. And the staff at the check out could have been more friendly.

Good value but very average stay. Had a few problems with our first few rooms (toilet leaking, strong cigarette smells, major stains on carpets, toilet not flushing correctly) and had to move rooms a few times until we got one that was OK. Hotel staff was very kind with helping us move to a different room to stay in. Overall it was good value (our reservation also included free parking) but definitely not my favorite stay in the city.

I was hoping it would be cleaner. Carpet was stained in several places and the remote had stuff (possibly food) encrusted onto the buttons. But the staff was nice and helpful. The area felt safe as well.

Apart from a poor checkin experience (didn’t talk much and swiped my credit card without telling me what I’m being charge or about incidentals) my room was next to the elevators and they need to be greased badly. It was so noisy that I had to sleep with the TV on. Getting comfortable after dinner and drinks, we had to leave the room and go down flights of stairs to evacuate the building and stand in the cold and rain while the fire department inspected. I did not enjoy this stay. I most likely won’t be returning to this hotel.

Downstairs looks fancy but our room was dirty, had dog pee by the AC, small things were breaking. Our truck didn’t fit in the parking garage so we had to park across the street in a different parking garage. This hotel was also in the hood! Scared it’s going to get broken into overnight.

The sink was half clogged and the water drained very slowly . We have to turn off the water faucet after a few minutes for draining . The toilet had non-flushed tissue. Disappointed for this price. I paid $468 for two nights including $56 parking.

Only one elevator was working, room was very basic with stains on the carpet, a lot of things were out of order (ice machine, vending machines, elevators)

Place was nice. More working elevators would be great but the rooms were clean and the city view was great. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. There were some sketchiness going on outside so maybe onsite security would help with that.

They’re clearly in the midst on some renovations but once completely done this place will be amazing. It was a nice stay overall but be aware that the location isn’t in the greatest neighborhood. Nevertheless, the hotel was great.
