Globalement bien, nous pourrions y revenir.
4 nuits, août 2022, chambre vue ville (n°529) pour 4 personnes denier étage (5eme): Hôtel très bien situé à fisherman's Wharf. Pas de bruit la nuit et environnement sûr. Safeway tout a côté pour faire des courses si on souhaite maîtriser le budget nourriture. Sinon, plein d'options restau/bar ... Micro onde dispo ds le hall uniquement mais mini frigo dans la chambre. Très bon accueil de la manager en chef, le management général de l'hôtel et les services sont conformes au niveau 4 étoiles affiché. Piscine chauffée (légèrement comme partout aux usa), jacuzzi, salle de fitness (superbe), laverie a chaque étage. Ce qui l'est moins, c'est : - la vétusté globale de la chambre. Cela reste correct dans l'ensemble mais au détail, on peut noter que les meubles sont assez marqués et que la moquette est tachée par endroit. - l'insonorisation entre les chambres (qui ont des portes afin de les rendre communiquantes si besoin). Par exemple : un réveil vers minuit suite à une dispute chez nos voisins. Pourtant, la veille au soir, ils avaient l'air de très bien s'entendre...... Et l'avant veille, ils ont écouté leurs tubes préférés pendant deux heures environ. Bref c'était un peu Hollywood a Fisherman's Wharf. - la salle de bain fonctionnelle mais assez datée.

Nous sommes très contents de l’établissement: nous avons bien apprécié la propreté de notre chambre, sa localisation à 2 pas de la jetée: Fisherman Wharf’s (jetée avec des restaurant ouvert après 19h30), le personnel est sympathique, la possibilité de louer des vélos sur place, la piscine et le jacuzzi. Nous avons pu profiter de la conciergerie pour y laisser nos valises après le check out.

Staff is very accommodating! The attached restaurant was tasty. Highly recommended the buffet breakfast. Plenty of delicious options to choose from and kitchen staff is more than willing to accommodate any intolerance of ingredients used. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was a bit stiff and the pillows were a bit too soft. To each their own, however neither would keep me from staying again. The location is extremely walkable to nearby attractions and you can find free bike rentals or paid electric scooter rentals conveniently at the front door should your itinerary take you a little farther out. Enjoy your stay!

The hotel was expensive and then they added $65 for parking and $10 tax on parking, plus city fees and all kinds of extras beyond what I had already paid for using Expedia. It is an old hotel, rooms were nice but bathrooms were very dated.Not worth the price!

I was not told in advance that the room I paid for (city view) was going to be disrupted due to construction. I didn’t have to pay for the hotel fee, but still the room I paid for was not what I got. The hotel is dated and the valet was slow.

They are renovating the outside, so we had trouble finding it because the building was covered in scaffolding, but they matched the price of self parking for valet parking!

Overall, the hotel was nice, the staff were helpful, and our stay was good. However, the property is currently under renovation, which we were NOT notified of at any point. The outside of the building was covered in scaffolding, and there was very loud construction noise in the room in the middle of the day. The windows in some of the rooms were covered in frosted plastic, with workers right on the other side. It was tolerable, but had my children still needed afternoon naps, it would have been unacceptable. Had we been warned ahead of time that this would be a concern and been given a discount, I probably would have booked the hotel anyway and been completely satisfied. As it is, it seemed over priced given the noise and intrusion, and I am quite irritated that they never mentioned it to us. Beyond that, the kids enjoyed the pool, although it is only 3 feet deep everywhere. The restaurant was extremely expensive, so we never ate in it. The layout of the hotel was very odd, with only one set of elevators, and a weird two level lobby. The location was great, close to transit and Fisherman's Wharf.

However, we regret to hear that the renovation works dampened your stay and that full disclosure of this didn't reach you beforehand. We completely understand the inconvenience this could cause, especially with young ones needing rest. We aim to provide excellent value for our guests and measures are taken to assure minimal disturbance with works being conducted at certain hours.In regard to your other points, we note that the depth of the pool and the design of our hotel may not have fully met your preferences.
