Cottage 2 chambres au bord de l'eau, accÚs à la plage privée

La propriété est un chalet indépendant, situé à l'extrémité ouest pittoresque des Bermudes, trÚs proche de l'historique Royal Naval Dockyard. Le pittoresque village de Somerset avec ses bars, restaurants et magasins sont accessibles à pied, tout comme les plages plus calmes de Mangrove Bay et Somerset Long Bay.

La propriété est située sur les eaux de la Great Sound et il y a un quai avec chaises longues, tables et chaises pour les clients. La propriété a également accÚs à une petite plage privée trÚs proche.

L'emplacement est trĂšs pratique pour le transport car les arrĂȘts de bus et de ferry sont Ă  quelques pas. Les superbes plages de la rive sud sont Ă  une courte distance en bus.

We had a wonderful time, super clean and absolutely lovely accommodation. There’s a nice swimming area out the back. Perfectly located right beside the ferry terminal!

Unfortunately this rental fell incredibly short of what we expected based on prior reviews, photos, etc. We were so disappointed and uncomfortable staying here that we literally checked out after our first night and moved to a hotel. The home was not cleaned as one would expect, there was even a dead roach in the single bathroom, which if cleaned should have been seen and removed. We took pictures just as proof for ourselves. The host was lovely and we thank them immensely for their flexibility but this property is in serious need of an overhaul. We messaged the host to let them know we weren’t going to stay and we received a casual apology and acknowledgement that it’s due for an overhaul but even that is not scheduled until months out. Look elsewhere but this property does have so much potential if and when it’s redone and maintained properly, just not now. Would’ve like to see the host offer even a small refund but we didn’t push again because of their flexibility with the reservation. But we felt strongly about the need to share an honest review.

Great property in a great location. Steps away from the bus stops to the dockyard or the southern beaches. Also steps away from commuter ferry that can be taken to Hamilton. Taxi’s constantly driving by and easy to access. Beautiful waterfront and small private beach very short walk away. Property is a little outdated but has a great deal of character.

This is our second time in this beautiful property and we are planning to be back again in the future. Everything was great, we spent most of the time fishing from all spots around and our best luck was from the bridge in the evening time. Highly recommend.

The property's location is unbeatable. Quiet area, beautiful ocean views and easy access to the bus and Watford ferry makes this an ideal vacation spot. The snorkeling across the street is some of the best I've experienced. Bring your own masks and snorkels. There weren't any at our property, luckily we brought ours! You don't want to miss it. There is no need to spend money on a snorkeling excursion. We easily saw 10 different types of fish and spent hours in the water. The house was a perfect size for our family. The beds were super comfy and the shower had great water pressure to get the salt out of our hair. Unwinding on the balcony in the evening and listening to the waves and tree frogs was the perfect end to the day. Christine was great. We had food delivered to the house and needed the exact address. Google maps wasn’t cooperating. She picked up as soon as we called. * Some advice for those staying here: pull up the Watford ferry schedule, bus schedule and cruise schedule. Watch the cruise schedule and plan some of your adventures around when the ships dock at the Dockyard. Saturday can be very busy and it was difficult for us to secure transportation. The busses were full and didn't stop. Taxi wasn't available either. The app Hitch is user friendly to secure a taxi, but everyone was busy or in other areas of the island. So we changed plans and went snorkeling instead of traveling to the local beaches.

Good place right on the water, next to the ferry to Hamilton and walking distance to some beaches. Great for a short trip to get some beach time and see a few of the sites on the island. Place was clean except for dirty floor. Sports club nearby that was advertised appeared closed.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, perfect location with amazing views. The cottage location was close to bus and ferry service. Several restaurants were within walking distance. We ordered groceries before our arrival, Christine picked them up and had them at the cottage prior to our arrival. Christine was a lovely host. I plan to return with my husband.

We spent most of our 4 days lounging around the patio and dock, swimming, snorkeling and fishing. The view is so beautiful. We saw tons of sea life and enjoyed watching the boats and people. Christine and family were lovely and helpful. Such a bonus to have our groceries delivered by Christine. Such a fun and relaxing vacation. Thank you so much!

This is a great little spot, perfect for four people. The best snorkeling of our trip was right off the dock and our boat tour captain dropped us off at the cottage so we wouldn't have to bother with a taxi back to the property! The convenience was awesome. The kitchen and breakfast bar suited our needs and between the porch and the little deck, we had all the outdoor space we could want. Christine was so nice and thoughtful and the property was clean and neat for our arrival. Would highly recommend.

Even though the rental could use a bit of a facelift, we still had to give it 5 stars. Firstly, Christine is amazing! She’s responsive, helpful and gave us our space. She even picked up our grocery order before we arrived for us so we had food in the house! At one point we couldn’t get the TV to stream, so she brought over HER own for us to use for the week! The views were incredible. The views from the property are gorgeous- and the private beach just across the street was wonderful The ferry and bus are steps away, making it easy to get around. We had a serene and enjoyable stay.

Transport links are great for both the bus and ferry. Bedrooms large and very comfortable with a lovely view from both the patio and upstairs balcony. A few minor maintenance updates needed but didn’t impact our stay. Christine was a lovely host and very responsive, would recommend this property.

We had a great time at Christine's place. The place was well taken care of and had everything that we needed. We loved the breathtaking views from our place. We loved the little beach across the street, private and very convenient to the property. The location was perfect for guests using buses in Bermuda, as well ferry. Perfect sized two story home that provided space for our family of four. The views were stunning and we enjoyed the lanai with covered sectional overlooking the water. The dock and access to our own Snorkel area were amazing. Location in Somerset and access to private beaches was incredible. Easy to get to the dockyard. The only negative of this property was it was outdated - needs some remodel but the price was on point and worth the views and layout of home. Bermuda always surpasses our expectations! We will be back ! Thank u Christine.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Dockyard, Somerset and Horseshoe Bay by scooter or bus. Ocean swimming off the dock at the back of the house. Kitten cookware and utensils were all fine. Some repairs needed to faucets and light fixtures but manageable.

The location was beautiful and Christine was a wonderful host. I was unaware of the quarantine restrictions and she offered to pick up groceries for us, the beer was greatly appreciated! She was also very responsive to all of our questions. The location is right by a ferry and bus stop and a few good restaurants in walking distance

We visited for a wedding at nearby Cambridge Beaches and this location was perfect. Though there was a little bit of a walk in between, we enjoyed walking from the condo to the resort all weekend. Bermuda requires visitors to be tested for COVID upon arrival at the airport and you are not allowed to leave your residence until your results are returned. Ours didn’t arrive until midnight, so we would have been bored and cooped up in a hotel room
 but this rental has access to a private beach and dock on the water where we were able to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery and ocean breeze. It was lovely! Christine was also easy to get in touch with and very helpful, which is really important when you’re in a country you’ve never visited before. đŸ‘đŸ»
