Pros: Easy walking distance from the hotel to Paypal Park for the Bay FC game. Safe and well-lit. Cons: bed was firmer than I like and the pillows are too thick. The room had a must smell. Overall, we would stay again because of the convenience.

it was just a bad experience i paid everything online and still had to pay a deposit of 250 the sink was broken and it was soo dirty and the customer service was terrible so rude!!

Hello Fabian,I was reading your review from Expedia. I first of all would like to apologize for the problems that you had with your room. I also wanted to know did you report it to anyone. As for the security deposit. It does say on the front page of Expedia for our hotel. That we have a 250 deposit/incidental hold. And it should be in your email confirmation from Expedia as well.

Really liked the staff the area it was very clean the only thing I was not satisfied with the check in time 4pm got to the hotel at 3:30 and had to wait but other than that great place to stay was not satisfied with the check in time

I checked in on Tuesday evening and didn’t get a chance to put my parking pass on my dash. I went out in the morning to find my truck was towed. Staff were blaming it on me.

If you want to see bed bugs in room and prostitutes
I went to hotel and looked at room before i checked in . There was bed bugs in room . There was walls that were not painted . And prostitutes walking and and out of ( motel) not hotel. I should have looked at reviews from Yelp. Before i booked with hotels.com . When i asked for my money back . The hotel ( sonesta suites). Said to talk to hotels .com . Then whan i called to hotels .com they said to call to sonesta suites. I did not stay there i ran for my wife s and i safety.

Hello Ronald,None of the rooms that you checked had bed bugs in them. Do you know how to check for bed bugs? Are you a pest professional? Our hotel is checked every two weeks by a professional pest control company. Are you sure that you saw a prostitute. I remember my desk agent calling for you that night. She showed you two rooms. You wanted my desk agent to show you more rooms while she was the only person working. You did not mention anything to her about any of the false things that you put in your review. Hotels.com did cancel your reservation with no fee.

The only con is the location ( right next to the train and the Santa Clara school) All the rest was very poor, bed, air system and service. We stay here for 3 nights and we could not get room service or clean towels.

Don’t consider staying here
Just be prepared for the fact that the roomd don’t look like the pictures. The bath tub is missing the stopper to hold water, the towels and sheets are dirty, the fire alarm won’t stop beeping. We asked them to change the battery. 4 hours later came back and it was still beeping. The guy at the front desk seriously could not have cared any less than he did. We had to take it out and put it in the car for the night just to get some sleep. Everything was old, outdated and filthy. You can find a much nicer hotel for the same price. Don’t stay here.

The room was comfortable, a little dated, but clean. I called the hotel to get a shuttle from the airport which was great. But then when I called the night before departure, the front desk said that they don’t have a shuttle. So that was confusing and inconvenient to figure out the night before departing. There were two phones in the room: one with the numbers to all services which didn’t work and a regular phone with no numbers. So I had to call the front desk from my cell phone to ask a question. It also wasn’t clear that there was no housekeeping daily. The staff was friendly and the hotel was well kept.

Staff is good but rooms are chewed up-literally. Rusty fixtures. Turn on heat and smell burning dust. Grimy floors. That and the malfunctioning fire alarm in the middle of the night one day and the 40 min fire alarm blast two days later made this a disaster. Supposedly a scheduled test, but I would never have booked it if I had known. 1/10 do NOT recommend!!!

Thank you Craig for taking the time to review our hotel. I do apologize for the problems that you had during your stay. Our hotel is scheduled for a full renovation next year. The fire alarm from the night before was from a guest cooking in the room. And they did not turn on the vent fan or open a window. It was not a malfunction. The alarms going off today was part of our yearly fire inspection. Notices were posted on every guest room door on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. If you do not wish to recommend or come back to our hotel. That is your opinion. I am just apologizing to you. And letting you know what happened.

Don't risk it!
Really gross hotel! Don't risk it. The first floor hotel room windows have easy access to people outside as they are no screens and sometimes don't lock. My room was particularly dirty, a strong bad smell, and did not give off a welcoming vibe whatsoever. The TV is super small, the couch had stains, and everything inside is outdated. They have a $250 room holding fee which is outrageous as most hotels have $100 hold fee. After I checked in, I checked out because it was just not a place of relaxation. The people across the hall were smoking weed and that was adding to yet another awful smell to my room. The picture online looks like a soothing hotel but it's completely different on the inside.

Property is out of date. The WiFi it’s terrible couldn’t get work done. Hotel is right next to a train tracks. My room freezer did not have icemaker or ice trays so I cannot have ice for the two days I was there. The room smelled terrible. Hard to get sleep when the train kept going by every 10-20 mins even in the middle of the night.
