Highland Parks of Blue Mountain Beach is a new upscale resort community located among the highest elevations along 30A. The home also sits next to Point Washington State Park and its meandering nature trails, with beach access just one mile from the front door!
Steps from the home lies the stunning community pool, which offers a collection of covered and uncovered seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor TV, waterfalls into the pool, a hot tub and a fire pit. The community pool area also has a four-story observation tower from which you can enjoy dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding Blue Mountain Beach. A pleasant mile walk from the home will get your toes in the sand.
Hardwood floors, granite counter-tops, shiplap walls, and simple coastal decor are just a few of the features that make this home worthwhile escape. The living room offers comfy, premium furnishings while the dining area offers seating for 6 with additional seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. Two sizable, covered porches enhance the living spaces of the main home while the carriage home also includes a private covered balcony. The main home features a reverse plan with 2 King Master Suites on the main level along, with a welcoming foyer leading to a back patio and spacious courtyard with plenty of outdoor seating and a propane (provided) grill, perfect for the whole family to unwind and enjoy the Florida sun!
Ascending the wooden staircase you'll find an open living and dining area with soaring tongue and groove ceilings, abundant natural light and coastal contemporary ambience. The fully appointed kitchen offers plenty of cooking space with quartz countertops and center island, stainless steel appliances, and white cabinetry, perfect for the most discriminating home chef. Just because you are on vacation, doesn't mean that you have to skip family dinner! Alternatively, check out the plethora of dining & entertainment options along 30A & Blue Mountain Beach!
On the third floor, you'll find a large bedroom with built-in Twin beds & pullout Queen Sleeper Sofa. This is the perfect place for the Kids to hang out! The carriage home provides a lovely space for additional guests, with full kitchen, separate living room (with another pullout Queen sleeper sofa), Queen Guest Room, and full bathroom with walk-in shower.

Family Time
We had an amazing time! The house is beautiful and coastal. Enough room for everyone to spread out! The bikes and golf cart were a huge hit! We took them everywhere. The pool location was perfect and getting to the beach was easy. We had a wonderful time as a family and look forward to coming back! 💛🌴

Perfect vacation home
We had the perfect family beach vacation! What a beautiful home! Our time here was awesome. The house was big enough that we never felt crowded and the guest house gave us extra room and privacy. The golf cart made going back-and-forth to the beach so easy and the bikes were a fun feature- we enjoyed evening bike rides. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook for the family in the home is close enough to shops and restaurants That we could walk ride the bikes or take the golf cart anywhere we needed to go. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice house but needs a little TLC with cleaning.
We definitely felt some of the property could have been in better shape or better taken care of. There were weeds all around the outdoor hang out area, broken furniture on patios, a restroom sink and shower that we clogged and backed up. One of the bikes had a flat tire and the garage had all kinds of beach accessories (a lot which needs to be thrown away due to being broken). The previous renters had left some clothing in that pile as well.
The house itself is nice and linen and towels were clean. The golf cart was a great perk! The neighborhood pool is a nice option as well.

When we arrived on our first night at 5 pm the door code nor the garage code did not work. We could not get in the house. Called guest services and she told me she would get someone to us to open up. She called us back a little later and said a locksmith was coming. We called back at hour two of waiting and she said the locksmith was tied up and will be to us shortly. At three hours of waiting I called guest services back and told them we were going to get dinner and the locksmith can unlock the door when he gets there. When we sat down to eat after ordering she called back and said the locksmith was there but could not open the door unless we were there. I left my family at the restaurant and returned to the house. We finally got in the house 4 hrs after we arrived. We had cold food that was lost due to not getting in as well. Also had to box my dinner at the restaurant. The next morning we figured out the key for the garage and the door code did not work to get to the golf cart. Called guest services again which the lady brought us keys to get in. As far as the house it was comfortable other than the master bed was so noisy any movement could be heard throughout the house. The loft where the kids slept was extremely hot. Also, the water pressure was pretty low in the shower! Shae - with guest services was very nice and helpful and trying to help do everything she could!

Not as advertised
The layout of this property is not ideal for a property that advertised to sleep 12 (bedrooms with full baths inside the rooms on the ground floor, main floor with kitchen on 2nd floor with a a tub only, additional loft that sleeps 4 on the 3rd level with no restroom). Outdoor patio is over grown with weeds and landscaping, trash throughout the wooded area along the porch, cheap outdoor furniture that nearly falls if used. There is a drainage issue in the master bathroom sink and shower (standing water) that was mentioned in previous reviews, garage door does not function correctly with opener (manually open/close the door) and received a reminder for noise complaints within the first 4-hours of arrival. We’ve stayed a t several homes with our same family group and none were happy with this location for the price. ,

Lovin Life - So Sad
This is our 4th stay in this community. The location is great and with am electric cart beach access is manageable. When staying peak season traffic/parking is not easy. However, the pool at this location was grand; and we came back to get that experience. Sad that that was not the case. A "new sheriff" has taken over the pool. The property owners association should know the negatives that are being generated. I was harassed for not wearing a pool band. The band was on the table next to me but I was ejected. The next day other guests were ejected. Finally a property owner from Oklahoma was badgered...... Let's say, I will not come back to this location again.
I called and texted the rental company with my complaint, but they never responded.
The house was roomy and comfortable. But for the SHERIFF, I would rent again. So SAD.
