This is a beautifully appointed home in a great location on 30A. Walking distance from beach. In a less crowded area than nearby Seaside but close enough to go eat and shop there. Kitchen is fabulous. Pool is very nice.House desperately needs a welcome book with details not in check in email. Other homes we have stayed in along 30A have one. There are little nuances such as how to temporarily silence a very annoying pool alarm that goes off each time the sliding door is opened (this is required by law) and how to work the elevator that could be easily introduced and explained in a welcome book. We did not know how to manage the alarm or the elevator and it made our check in chaotic. We booked on VRBO then management company changed and had to communicate with VRBO ITRIP and Avant Stay due to a transfer of management which was frustrating and confusing prior to arrival We also had two non working toilets upon arrival and had to have them checked by maintenance then a plumber. The local management company was responsive but still dealt with the toilets the first 24 hours there , plumber found bars of soap clogging both. Cleaning team should have discovered non flushing toilets but we were told they donât âdeep clean â in high season. 5 steps outside up to home are WAY steeper than they seem in picture. Would not recommend if you have a limited mobility person in party even with the elevator 15 plus years vacationing in 30A - least favorite place due to toilets
