The hotel description is misleading. After booking and checking in, I was shocked to discover that the windows were frosted and covered with tape—allowing light in, but offering no view whatsoever. Had this been clearly disclosed, I would not have booked this property.
I was told that if I wanted a room with a clear window, I would need to pay extra for a suite upgrade. Given that the rate I already paid was quite high, I declined.
As a result, I decided to leave the hotel and requested a refund. I then booked another property, where I had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, the owner/manager of this hotel refused to issue any refund.
I also requested a call from the manager, but never received any follow-up. After escalating the issue through Expedia, I was only offered a partial credit—roughly 50% of what I originally paid.
This is very disappointing, as the hotel has potential, but practices like this undermine the overall experience. I would not stay here again. If you are comfortable staying in a room without any view—something that can feel quite claustrophobic—then this place might work for you, otherwise I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
