„This house certainly met our needs. We appreciated the comfy living room, with plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. This was great, because we ate many of our meals at home. We are forever grateful for the obvious love of dogs by the owner. „Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous with the peacefulness of the water, it was just as listed. The place was vey spacious and clean, had everything we needed, internet was great, and the record player was a fun touch to our evening. The host was wonderful! „The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.“

„We absolutely loved staying here! Such a nice, homey feel--from spacious bedrooms, glass door knobs, lovey wooden and glass front door, an airy side porch with a view of the gorgeous, gigantic tree out front. Even our small grandchildren were excited to stay here--the 4 yr old wanted to make sure we were coming back after our day's outing to spend another night! And Melissa was very kind and helpful answering all my questions!“

"Sehr schöner Ausblick vom Balkon und von der Frühstücksterrasse, nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, positiv war auch, dass beim Frühstück koffeinfreier Kaffee angeboten wurde. Verbesserungspotential sehen wir beim etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Zustand der Zimmer sowie beim Frühstück. Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp, um von hier aus die Great Smoky Mountains zu erkunden, würden wir es aber wieder buchen. "
