Spring Break

This was our first time to Sarasota and using this rental property. We pleasantly surprised that toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and beach towels were on hand for us to use. The cottage was very clean and conveniently located. The pool being heated was an extra treat! We were so pleased with our stay and are already planning to be back next year!

The salty life as a Texan.

The house was convenient to many beautiful beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, and other places of interest. We did have an adventure as Hurricane Idalia swept by and this was a 1st for us so we were concerned. Owners answered my questions and concerns with approaching storm and eased my fears. House stood up to winds and rain. Very cute décor and kitchen was stocked up with utensils, appliances, and we loved the pool. It helped fill in the days when we weren't able to get out due to storm. Would definitely return with more family.,

Flamingo Cottage June 2023

We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Cottage. It was very clean and everything needed was provided. We only had to purchase groceries. The pool was a great addition. Kid's took full advantage of it. Plenty of beach towels included. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets and pillows provided. Very clean! Our stay was a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed this cozy house so much!

This spot is so peaceful and has so many amenities and the pics don’t do it justice. A short walk to Walgreens, Walt’s fish market, Trader Joe’s, Aldi. So many things available for the vacationer to use like a cooler, beach supplies, a cart, tons of beach towels, toys, washer and dryer. And the pool was such a glorious gift. You just don’t usually find this much for such a reasonable price. Love.

Cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in

This place was perfection! Beautiful, clean little house, with a well stocked great kitchen. Our 3 year old loved it, especially the heated salt water pool. Short drive to Siesta Key and tons of restaurants nearby. Great hosts. They even messaged us that we could check in early. Highly recommended.

The Flamingo Cottage was just as described, and larger than it looks in the pictures. My family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and even had darling serving platters to use for one of our dinners in. The beds were so comfortable!! I'm having trouble falling asleep in my own bed now - LOL. I rated cleanliness as a 4 ONLY because the floors were dirty - swept but not mopped well! I did not mention anything about the floors to Ken or Donna because it didn't bother us that much since we wore sandals. Everything else was spotless! Overall we liked the house very much & enjoyed the pool & outdoor space.!

Had a great stay

Ken and Donna were very attentive and friendly. We really did not have any issues that needed addressing. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, modern kitchen, nice living area - the layout suited our needs for our month long stay very well. I would highly recommend this propery and would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Sarasota.

Home before Our Home

The stay could not have been better. We stayed here for a month while we waited to close on our own home and transition our kids to a new school and a new state. The location, amenities, cleanliness all made our transition so much easier. We would definitely recommend to others!

The place was nice but for us older folks (over 80) grab bars in the showers are needed as is a railing to help getting in and out of the pool. We didn't use the pool because we were not sure we could get in or out without a railing.

Jasmine Casita Joke!!

We rented Jasmine Casita for the month of August, 2021. We left 2 weeks early due to the following: Horrible location, overgrown landscaping and grass, police cruisers in the driveway on Sunday morning, human feces on shower curtain, soiled urine stained mattress, old worn sheets and towels, tv needed repair, microwave needed repair, dirty/filthy air vents. The maintenance crew came out and fixed the tv and microwave, guest services bought sheets, towels and shower curtain. Property management ordered a deep cleaning as well. However, we requested a full refund on Tuesday after arriving on Saturday and was informed there would be no refund. We have opened several complaints with the appropriate agencies and provided them with photos, receipts and emails. Our intention is to ensure others do not have this experience I do not have trust that this company will do the right thing and REFUND our total amount. However, I will continue to be an advocate for others to ensure they do not meet the same fate.

Another Great Stay

This is our second stay here. Owners are very prompt and attentive when needed yet no bother when not. Very well appointed with everything we needed even for beach, umbrella, chairs etc. Would go again if visiting area.

Wonderful Staycation

Lovely property. Trader J's, Publix, Lucky's, Best Buy, B&N, Starbucks all within a few blocks. The kitchen was beautifully redone with great appliances, and an outdoor LP grill. Wake up, pop in a K-cup for coffee, cook breakfast, or try one of a dozen great restaurants nearby. Then head to Lido Beach or Siesta Key for the day. Come home cook dinner, and finish the evening in the beautifully lit new swimming pool. Ken and Donna are great hosts!

Absolutely loved the cottage and the owners

Me and my family have been coming to the Sarasota area for 3 yrs now and wish we would have found this place sooner. The house has everything and more for your vacation. The owners are nothing short from amazing. Our plane landed 11:30pm and Donna was kind enough to offer to buy breakfast for us and have it ready. I got the pleasure of meeting Ken a few times. He was very respectful and helpful with anything we needed as well to make our trip the best possible. Me and my family are very grateful of everything Ken and Donna have did during our wonderful trip. The cottage was in a great area close to shopping, food and most importantly siesta key. Me and my family will continue coming to Ken and donnas rentals until we can call Sarasota our home as well. Thanks again ken and Donna and can’t wait to see you guys again next summer. Who knows maybe sooner lol

Fabulous home!

Ken and Donna's home is cozy, relaxing ing, and impeccably clean! A home away from home in Sarasota. The kitchen is stocked with all the gadgets you need for cooking meals. There are beach chairs, umbrella, and nice thick beach towels for your day in the sun and sand, and to top it off there is a washer and dryer. So convenient! Thank you Ken and Donna for all you have done to make your home a fabulous place to stay.

The house was everything as described. We were very impressed with the all inclusiveness of the property. Besides groceries there was not one thing we needed to get that was not already there. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, all there. There was even a toolbox in garage that I used wrenches out of to change a bulb in our vehicle! Owners are very attentive to any needs and were very friendly. Thanks, Ken and Donna, we highly recommend it and would absolutely stay again when we visit area!

Very nice place...

My first question as soon as we pulled up was do I ever have to go home ?? This home was just absolutely breathtaking and overly comfortable in every aspect.. It comes fully equipped with anything you could possibly need from cooking to a day out at the beach.. The owners are just as responsive and amazing as the property is it’s self .. They are right there greeting you from the start and so happy to have you as a guest.. Will respond every single step of the way to assist with any need you may have during your stay. I couldn’t imagine better people to rent from.. If we ever return to this state which we weren’t to thrilled with we would for sure stay with these folks again no questions asked.. On maps the beach appears close but it’s not walkable and not the shortest distant to drive to but not to bad. Lots of stores near by to walk to.. Quite clean refreshing neighborhood..
