Chic Carriage House sur Monterey Square avec garage

Une escapade romantique parfaite dans l'une des villes les plus magiques du pays !! Le Carriage House original de 1869 est un chalet indépendant derrière la maison principale avec sa propre entrée privée hors de la voie. Il est situé au 2ème étage sur le garage comme toutes les maisons de transport d'origine à Savannah. La maison de transport est l'endroit où le conducteur vivait dans les années 1800 au-dessus des chevaux et des voitures dont il s'occupait. Le Wedding Cake Carriage House est livré avec un espace de stationnement de garage très convoité.

Le design inhabituel évoque un «loft Manhattan» situé dans une maison de transport historique de 1869. Ce mélange surprise de mobilier art déco original des années 1920-1940 et de nombreux éléments anciens crée une ambiance amusante et décontractée. L'espace de vie ouvert et aéré à aire ouverte présente un mur entier de fenêtres d'artistes givrées, inondant ainsi la maison de lumière naturelle. La chambre avec lit king size et TV est adjacente à la séduisante salle de bain avec des caractéristiques luxueuses telles qu'un bain à remous de 6 pieds et une douche en marbre séparée. La cuisine rouge design offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un festin de style méridional ou simplement prendre du pain grillé et du café en sortant de votre porte pour admirer les sites historiques de la ville que vous n'êtes qu'à quelques pas!

This was the absolute perfect place for my husband and me to stay on our first visit to Savannah! I had looked at various places and settled on this one because of the tub in the bathroom (LOL) and the parking space in the garage! It was exactly as described! Very clean! Excellent location! I was very thankful for the note beside the jetted tub explaining that the jets just randomly turn on from time to time! That definitely would have unnerved us without the warning! We hope to have a longer stay next time!

Just as advertised. Close to everything. Quiet, historic neighborhood. The garage space really helped and was large enough to easily fit a midsize SUV with room to spare (e.g. Palisade; Durango). Would absolutely stay again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, and we were grateful to have garage parking! The bed was very comfortable and my 6’5” husband appreciated the very spacious shower and high ceilings throughout.

If you like history, this is a perfect place to stay for a long weekend. It’s in the heart of Savannah’s historic district with the prettiest streets being a short walk. The carriage house with parking included is a great bonus! The garage is tight, so plan accordingly. Enjoy!

Our bedroom was hot and we had difficulty sleeping due to the temperature. We could not adjust thermostat.Due to narrow, steep, and long staircase, not the best place for individuals with difficulties climbing stairs.Location was great and rooms were clean.

Lovely property. GREAT location. Walk to everything. THe only heads-up is access to the garage is tight Savannah's lanes are narrow. We were in a Sentra and it took some maneuvering. There is evidence at the entrance of others not as deft. Don't try it with an SUV!

Our apartment was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Location in the historic district was wonderful and very walkable to everything. Good security and parking. We were very satisfied and would stay there again.

Great location, left car parked in garage and walked every where and used hop on hop off trolly one of our days. Understood from previous reviews that it was an upstairs unit and the stairs were a pain for our luggage but otherwise ok. Host very easy to deal with. Would stay here again if back in Savannah.

The location was perfect! We were able to walk about the city and could easily stop back at our place. The accommodations were great as well. The garage parking was a bit tricky as it’s a rather small parking space (which is understandable knowing the history of the building) and it’s in an alley. We figured it out!

This one bedroom apartment is a wonderful space in the historic district within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and gardens. The apartment is well appointed and quite clean. The reason for the four star rating is the failure of the WiFi for our entire stay. When that is addressed, it deserves five stars.

Property was as presented on VRBO. Very comfortable. Great shower. Centrally located in historic district. One designated parking in garage. If you have a choice between driving full size truck or midsize vehicle, drive the midsize vehicle. Not sure truck would fit. Highly recommend this property.

Fabulous weekend getaway in Savannah! The carriage house is an optimal location - walkable to many restaurants, shops, cafes. The neighborhood is quiet at night for a good night's rest. If you're driving or renting a car, the garage was a super convenient amenoty. We would stay here again

I love the place. Very clean, and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Location was great. The communication with the manager was outstanding. It was very convenient to have the enclose parking.

We have traveled to Savannah for the last 4 years to see the Christmas show at the Savannah theater. Parking was always a problem when staying at one of the historic Inns, so the Carriage House was perfect. We had a great time and our car had it's own garage.

First of all, the location in the Historic District is excellent. Easy and safe walking opportunities, yet located off the major roadways. A quiet and safe neighborhood, near restaurants, Flagler College, and the Lightner Museum. The downtown parking garage parking pass was a much appreciated bonus! We had a very enjoyable 3 days. The condo itself is lovely. Very attractive. Large screen TV's in two rooms; internet was great. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is up-dated and well equipped. However, the building had apparently been recently flooded, so the downstairs hallway had a distinct mildew smell; the upstairs condo was much better, but still slightly evident. If someone is sensitive to this, it would be a good idea to explore this in more depth with the owner/manager. Our stay coincided with a Super Moon which happens a few times a year. The high tide came in and flooded the road and sidewalk in front of our building for approximately 2 - 3 hours every 12 hours. What a surprise that was. The water was quite deep, and the neighbors were able to give us very valuable advice; they told us not to drive through it unless we took the car to a car wash right away. We were totally safe the whole time, and our parked car was always dry. We used a local tide table to plan our day around when we were able to drive in and out of the parking lot. This does not happen every month, but it would be worth checking out.

Beautiful property within walking distance to many Savannah landmarks. Our intended arrival was the day a tropical storm was set to hit Savannah and the property manager worked with us to flex our stay by a few days and kept us updated on flooding in the area. I will definitely look up this property management for our next trip in the area. Had a wonderful stay!
