Perfect for quick downtown walk

Very close to downtown. Only a 10 minute drive and everywhere is walkable. Very clean and very easy instructions. Loved we were able to park right next to the house. Would definitely book again

So happy with our stay.

The place was well situated and felt so warm and homey. About a 20 minute walk from the river area where everything is and 2 minutes from the park. Nice and quiet. So much bigger than other places we looked at and priced lower too! 100% would love to stay here again.

Decent location, Clean, and Bright

My adult daughter and I stayed at this location. Though a bit of a walk to River St and other activities, we found a jump on/off bus which helped. Also used Uber when we were too exhausted to walk. The apartment is bright, has a full, clean kitchen, and comfortable beds!

We really enjoyed Montgomery House. It was the perfect size, clean, and quiet. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing but fun girl's getaway weekend!

I love the original pine flooring, the steep stairs and tall ceilings. The unit is on the west side, about a 9block walk from River Street and a couple of streets over from Forsyth Park! There is a bit of noise from MLK, but nothing excessive and I slept great in a very comfortable bed with lots of pillows- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah.

Reviewer Comments: I originally booked a different property in a great location that was convenient to downtown, but got a phone call 2 days later saying it had been double booked. This property was the alternative given to me and it was away from everything and it wasn't the best of neighborhoods either. This was our first trip to Savannah and was not familiar with it. Had I known it was going to be inconvenient, I would have never booked it.

Could use more than one kitchen towel and more than one bathroom hand towel. We experienced problems with the AC but the staff was extremely attentive. You should bring your own streaming device as only local channels. There is road noise but they provided white noise machines in the bedrooms that helped tremendously. Never had problems with parking. Short walk to Forsyth and kroger.

Very clean but way too expensive and not responsive

We had several circumstances that necessitated contacting the property manager - missing items from property per listing, forgotten items etc. They were very quick to promise action but not at all able to follow up. Requests for missing items took 3 calls and 13 hours. Follow up phone calls after stay went unresolved for 4 days. Charged $750 for 2 nights and it was on the VERY southern edge of historic district, not at all within walking distance and on kind of a sketchy corner. Fairly unhappy with the whole deal. Property was very clean, but obviously a low budget renovation. Outlets in kitchen don't even have cover plates.
