Dschungel Safari-Zelt mit privatem Tauchbecken nahe Playa Matapalo

Tucked into its own pocket of tropical garden a few steps from Playa Matapalo, on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. This luxury safari tent was shipped from South Africa and is built from four layers of canvas for strength, shade and comfort in the tropics.

THE SPACE
Two lockable bedrooms, each with a ceiling fan, mosquito net and its own sink. The main bedroom has a king bed and a safe. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a high twin bed. The open living space runs straight out to the deck and has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and microwave. The two bathrooms are open-air with hot-water showers under the tropical canopy. By design there is no air-conditioning, TV or washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS
A deep plunge pool is built into the deck, and the garden around the tent is private to you. There is an outdoor kitchen and dining area, a hammock and sun loungers. Beach towels and chairs are provided for Playa Matapalo, a few steps away.

GOOD TO KNOW
Children under 10 are not permitted because the plunge pool is deep and unfenced. Wifi is provided, and free street parking is available. The property is fenced, with 24-hour on-site security. Linda or Flory, your local hosts, will welcome you personally on arrival and can arrange breakfast, tours, surf lessons, horseback riding and transfers with advance notice. Monkeys, macaws and sloths pass through often. Two restaurants and a small supermarket are about a 15-minute walk away. A car is recommended, as there is no public transport, and Manuel Antonio National Park is about 50 minutes by car. There are three tents on the property, so groups can ask about booking more than one.
