Great location. Hostess was responsive when we called and amenable. We did need to get our own soap and we ran out of to. The outside shower was fabulous except we thought there may have been a clog or drainage problem. Water seemed to pool around the shower. Not so much a problem for us but I hope it does not cause damage. Lastly beds had plastic mattress covers which I understand why but sometimes they lock in heat. Small mattress in small room probably needs to be replaced. It was a great stay for our sized group. We enjoyed our stay and if your doing the beach everyday it was the best location. Felt very safe also.

Location, Location, Location!!!

Amazing location, steps away from one of the best beaches in southern Maine. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is within easy walking distance to lovely seafood restaurants with delicious lobster rolls! Outdoor space is great for just hanging out and lounging. Two large picnic tables provide ample space for large families. Excellent kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need. Owner is super responsive and helpful. We’ve been vacationing in southern Maine annually for 15 and this house is a Maine beach lover’s dream!

Family Vacation

Pine Point Beach is a beautiful beach and the location of the house was very convenient and worked well for our family. The outdoor space at the home could use some updating and additional seating. The lack of dressers and space to put clothing was a challenge for our family.

Great family vacatinn venue

Lovely open concept beach house. The house is all on one level which is good for toddlers and grandparents. The wide sandy beach is just across the street. The appliances are new and state of art and towels and beach chairs are in good supply. We loved our stay here.

Tranquility

This is a great home with lots of space and the location so near the Pine Point Beach is exceptional. Loved being able to walk the beach in the early morning with our dog Mookie and again at sunset. The back yard is great for relaxing and outdoor cooking. I would go back again in the future..

Location, location, location

My extended family rented two houses on Pine Point for the Memorial Day weekend. We had great weather especially for late Spring in Maine. The beach is a 2-minute walk and is top notch. Plenty of activities within a 30 minute drive.

Thanksgiving getaway

We loved the house and the location is so close to the beach. Lynn checked in to make sure we were all set and made the house feel special for Thanksgiving. Out of all the rental properties we have stayed at Lynn was the most communicative. Highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect location, great layout

This house is great for families of all ages! Our family group of 9 stayed comfortably including my mom who turned 75 the week of our stay as well as my nephews 3 & 1. The beach path across the street was great for quick beach access especially for my mom who has some trouble. House layout is great, i could barely hear my rambunctious nephews in the morning & they could easily nap in their back bedroom without fear of noise waking them as we had some rainy days & inside get togethers. Perfect setup for big family dinners! Appliances 5stars!! My mom & aunt were even obsessed with the toaster! Nephew had my Aunt reading many of the books provided. Nothing better than a nice outside shower!! The only thing i would love to see is some upgraded outside furniture. Lynn is a 5 star host! Accommodating, easy communication & very responsive. We've been vacationing in pine point for 15+ years & Lynn's house is definitely 1 we would stay at again. Thank you for opening up your property for families to enjoy!

Beautiful house in the perfect location! Short walk to beach (right across the street) on quiet road. Area is close to the rock jetty and amazing low tide walk. House was the perfect size with great updates and amenities. Great communication with Lynne!

Great location and size

Extended family with 12 guests with ages ranging from 13 to 80, and this house fit our needs. Loved the open kitchen/dining/living room. Took advantage of the backyard for meals and games. Any communication with owners received an almost immediate response. Of course, the location with walking out the driveway to the path to the beach was amazing. Highly recommend!!

Maine Vacation

We vacationed with extended family and friends, eight in total. Nice open living space and bedroom makeup to accommodate all of us comfortably. We have been visiting the same area for almost 30 years and know the area well and the many things to enjoy. Short walk to the beach, the provided chairs and umbrellas were very convenient. Very nice quiet yard with table and chairs to relax in also. The AC was marginal for probably the hottest week of the summer in the area but definitely made the house much more comfortable than not having it.

Relaxing Space - minutes to a beautiful beach

Our family of six very much enjoyed our stay - we appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with good cooking utensils and the space was relaxing to visit in - the fact that the beach is almost right out the door was wonderful - we enjoyed many walks along the beautiful sandy beach. Thank you!

Family of 9- Wedding Weekend

We came to Maine for a family wedding at Peaks Island, chose this house for the location and size. It did NOT disappoint. The location could not be better. Beach path is across the street of the house. Cute beach food shack "Emmas" just down the street. Lots of natural light in the house. The back yard is GREAT and fabulous Castle playhouse if you have kids. We did have some plumbing issues but Lynne was VERY responsive and helpful and got it resolved quickly.

Wonderful home away from home vacay.

Recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom, new appliances, comfy feel with books, puzzles, games and very easy access to the beach. One floor living with bedrooms on each end, lots of natural light, tastefully decorated - feels like the family beach house. Complete with large yard with comfy outdoor space, too. We will visit again and highly recommend this convenient vacay spot. Hosts are 5 star, excellent!
