« We have stayed here over and over, it’s our favorite spot, such a gem of a find! It’s right in the canyon and it’s GORGEOUS- there is red rock all around you, it’s peaceful, and you have private access to the creek and an awesome hike close by. slide rock park is two minutes away. we love it here! I think this was our fifth stay at this property. if you want peace and quiet near sedona, pack some food and hunker down here »

« We loved this property! It was clean, comfortable, and located right around the corner from historical downtown Cottonwood. The decor was very fun and we loved learning about some of the history of the location as well. Denise, the owner, happened to be there one morning as we were heading out for the day and offered to give us a tour of the 3 houses--it was lovely! We had brought our e-bikes to do a little touring around town and the area is great for that as well. We would definitely stay here...

« This property was exactly what the family needed. Having the high chair help minimize our packing load which was already crazy traveling with two kids under 2. The property was super clean, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. It’s very remote and quiet. Youre right in between downtown Sedona and Flagstaff. Definitely would like to visit again. »

« I had called Red Awning and left an extensive complaint. The wand to open and close the blinds was missing. My husband had to use his hands to do that. There were no tissues anywhere in the cabin. There were no directions anywhere for the ceiling fan. We finally figured out there was a remote left on one of the night tables for it. « Check in was an issue as i needed to contact the property management when the door code did not work and phone reception was spotty. The biggest problem however was the bed, with the mattress broken on one side causing a significant dip in the mattress causing me back pain. The television in the bed room did not funtion appropriately with the cable box cord broken. « This is the perfect spot to be central to trails as well as a short drive to food and supplies. We were expecting more canyon access, but it’s a very rocky creek bed and not a place to explore the creek side easily. It’s a very basic kitchen , with no ability to cook outside of a microwave, which was fine with us .we were expecting a back patio with this unit , only because I looked at some others that had them, so we were a bit disappointed we didn’t have one . »
