« We had a fantastic time during our stay. Me and my partner and our two college-aged kids had plenty of room in this small house. we enjoyed the bbq, eating on the deck and the hot tub. we cooked each night and there was adequate cookware. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations to see the area. Perfect spot to tour the Golden Circle and a short drive to Selfoss. Note that the local restaurant, on site, is open limited days--we were planning on eating there but it was...

« I stayed here for 2 night with my family (wife and children) and we had a very good experience. The booking process and communication with the host Bjarni was very smooth Bjarni was very responsive. We had a great time. The house was very clean and comfortable. »

« We did the golden ring and this was our family's favorite house. The really nice horses were the highlight and petting and feeding them was amazing. The kids wanted to stay longer and play with them. This house also has a washer and dryer so a great time to refresh your dirty clothes from the trip. »

« Les cabins sont incroyables! La vue est spectaculaire, l’endroit est propre, beaucoup d’équipements à disposition! »

« A disastrous experience, which bears no resemblance to the photos, the description or the price. The house looks like a mobile home; it’s situated next to a main road, so it’s noisy; it isn’t very clean and isn’t very welcoming, with spiders in the windows. « Amazing spot! Stayed in the one with the view of the volcano. Had hot tub and dry sauna. Will definitely book again. »

« The perfect spot! What a great discovery! »

« Wonderful, modern cabin centrally located on the Golden Circle. Great views of the lake as well! This cabin is very well-appointed, and the hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus after long days in the cold rain. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very communicative and the instructions were easy to follow and accurate. We had a great stay and highly recommend! »

« A gem of a cottage - with stunning views of the volcano! Everything was immaculately clean and cozy, and the host added a lot of special touches that made it feel like a home away from home. From the little extras (q-tips, makeup remover, full basket of toiletries) to pantry staples and more. Everything was so cozy and wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer! »

« We’ve never felt more compelled to leave a review. We’ve stayed in some incredible places, but MtDome was truly something special and tops them all.The dome was even bigger than we expected—you would be hard-pressed to find a hotel room this spacious anywhere on the island. But what impressed us most was how thoughtfully designed and functional everything was. The host truly thought of every detail. The heating, Wi-Fi, kitchen, coffee setup, and sauna were all incredibly easy to use, and the...

« Great host, local guidance and early checkin were much appreciated. »

« The property itself is wonderful and the home is very clean, current, and amenable. Being a new property, there are many positives to the home and property. Unfortunately, being a new property also means some issues with management need to be worked through. There’s always someone “available” via the app… but that representative cannot fix anything or do anything to address issues. When we checked in, the master bedroom has been locked from the inside somehow… then the water quit working...
