« We really enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel in the River District of Danville. The old newspaper building has been thoughtfully renovated with quality furnishings. Friendly and efficient staff. Bed and bedding were excellent and we slept well. Breakfast was ok, nothing remarkable, comparable to Hampton Inn. Convenient location, easy walk to excellent restaurant, The Gold Leaf. We’d be happy to stay again. »

« Continental breakfast is very good. Facilities overall are as well. Nice having a casual yet very tasty restaurant on site just a few steps from the rooms. Roku TV will take some getting use to for me, as I don't stream thus very little options that are free. »

« The views, the serenity and quietness of the area, the simplicity of the home, and the amenities like hottub and firepit all stood out. The yard is very beautifully landscaped and maintained. The ease of access right off a main road was nice too, as we did venture to explore other areas which were off the beaten path on lengthy gravel roads. The host was extremely welcoming and accessible if needed though we did not require anything. It was a great place to reset after the busy holiday...
