« Beautiful lake shore cabin with a selection of toys for my grandchildren. Close to both Munising and Grand Marais with good restaurant choices. We enjoyed use of the kayaks, row boat and fishing. We went in the clean lake from the sandy beach. We wished we could have stayed longer. »

« This was our 2nd stay at the cabin (also in 2023) and everything was as expected. The only change was bringing your own bedding and also cleaning up at then end for the next party that’s checking in. That was easy as all the cleaning supplies are there for use at the cabin. We enjoyed all the amenities provided, i.e. canoe & rowboat (both with paddles), the gas grill on the screened porch, washer & dryer (detergent included) as well as the kitchen that has all the pots, pans & cooking utensils....

« The cabin is small, but a true UP cabin. We had a great time. The location was perfect for the plans we had. The only problem we had was the initial directions provided, however, the host's were easily reachable to help us out. They are very nice. »

« A lovely, small cottage on the lake that was a perfect launch point for various sight seeing adventures. Wonderful to sit out on the patio and enjoy the lake breeze, and Lake Superior is around a 5 min walk from the cottage! One thing to note : GPS will send you up the hill, which is not where it is located. Cottages are right on the lake where the road up the hill t's into the main road - there are signs as well, but if arriving at night they will be hard to see. All in all a wonderful time! »

« What an amazing, well equipped cabin! There was 8 of us that stayed to explore Pictured Rocks and there was plenty of room to space out, kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfy! One of the best VRBO rentals to date.. and Dave was very responsive! »

« Cute, great location, just enough space. Nice that it’s newer, front and back porches are covered. Would be nice to have a little lamp for evening instead the overhead bright lights. Loved that it was so close to Miners Beach. »

« Great cabin right in the middle of Eastern U.P. which allows easy travel to other great tourist areas in any direction. We went NW to Munising, north to Grand Marais, NE to Tahquamenon Falls, SE to Mackinaw, and SW to Manistique. Cabin came fully stocked with what we needed, included games and movies, and had a nice pond that really added to the peaceful environment. »

« Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable...

« This is a beautiful cabin with extremely comfortable furnishings. The entire cabin was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, including an electric griddle. We had cool weather, so we particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace. If we make another trip to the U.P., we will definitely stay here again. »

« The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy.
