« Excellent location Close to great hikes. Very quiet at night. Suite was clean Comfortable King size bed. Management very responsive to requests for help when TV and WiFi went down. Would have give it a higher rating but the suite is in need of a refresh, and the carpets were badly stained with a bit of a stale odor when you first walk in. »

« My girlfriend and I were able to check into the property but were not happy with the cleanliness of the room. It was tidy and picked up but felt dirty. I found a dead cockroach on the ground and we decided to book another room elsewhere. We spent about 15 minutes in the room before leaving. »

« Do not stay at Purple Lizard Villa. The photos in the listing did not accurately represent the room we were given. We arrived late at night to a property with zero outdoor lighting — it was completely pitch black. As two women traveling alone, this immediately felt unsafe. Inside, there were broken and missing bathroom blinds with no privacy, black residue on multiple walls, and most alarming, a front door lock that was not secure. « Our stay was perfect, the condo exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Many small items were provided and appreciated. John and Robin even helped us with our car issues. The only downside was the proximity to the main road, but at night it was ok. We loved to be in Oak Creek, a very beautiful area, close to hiking trails, biking areas and 3 golfs, far from the more touristic area of Sedona, but close enough to visit this highly artsy town within 15 minutes ride. We highly recommend. »
