« We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! The cabin is meticulously maintained and it is very clear that the family loves their home away from home! Can’t wait to return!! »

« We walked into the house and were greeted with the wonderful smell of the pine log cabin. Everything was sparkly clean and beautiful. It was conveniently located a short drive from our white water rafting excursion. Highly recommend ! »

« This house is adorable and was perfect for our stay over a camp visiting day weekend. Our teenage son loved the loft area. The house is very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. While there was not any air conditioning, even in the middle of summer the Berkshires cool down at night so we were very comfortable during our stay. We did not have an opportunity to use the hot tub - but a nice addition. This house is located about a block from the lake and we walked down and were able...

« Beautiful views from all the windows, quiet, private, clean and comfortable! Well worth a three day stay in October with all the leaves changing colors. Kayaks provided were so appreciated, allowing us to paddle around the whole lake and enjoy the colors and views even more. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my elderly mother. Great towns within easy drive, lots to explore! »

Reached by a several miles-long dirt road that is exceptionally well-maintained, so not particularly challenging for those not used to dirt roads, even though unlit.Nonetheless, arriving for the first time in the middle of the night is a bit of an adventure. »

« The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. If you love quiet and the sounds of nature, this is the perfect place for you. We can’t wait to stay there again soon. »

« Very nice place to stay for our 3 day hike on the AT. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. It has an even better restaurant on top (you need reservations) and is right on the Appalachian Trail so you will meet all sorts on...

« The cabin was the perfect place to stay after our rafting adventure. Loved the oversized kitchen table. We were all able to eat together, play games, etc. Wish we had stayed another night to explore more of the local scenery. The owner was easy to communicate with through the whole process, and even went the extra mile to return an item to us that was left behind. Overall, a lovely stay. »

« I could not be more satisfied with the experience we had during our short stay. It was actually very nice to be more in the quiet Cove vs the main lake area… Paddling via canoe or kayak to the main lake area and swimming off of the island there was quite special. »

« Very comfortable, nicely decorated oasis in the woods! Lovely space for cooking and indoor or outdoor dining. Loved being so close to Jacob’s Pillow Dance Center. The property manager wasvery helpful when needed. Must be lovely also in winter! »

« This A-frame cabin was the perfect location for some Berkshire R&R. Close to so many of western MA's greatest attractions, we had a great time visiting Tanglewood and museums, and touring local towns and restaurants. The property was clean, as described, and very comfortable. Communicating with our hosts was very simple. We will be happy to return! »

« The house was lovely, small but cozy. The weather was very hot during our stay and the house did get a little warm. But the A/C in the main bedroom worked great. The lake was beautiful and we caught lots of fish. The home owner was very helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. »
