« Better than expected for the price. Nothing extraordinary however it was clean, felt secure and safe, the owners were attentive and made it clear to reach out if we needed anything. Shared bathroom wasn’t the nicest but it was pretty clean and did the job absolutely. Heating in the room so wasn’t cold. Good overall ! »

« Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, l’accueil est charmant, le petit déj un délice, et le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Situé à 1,5 du centre ville. Possibilité de le faire a pied, sinon l’hôtel à un partenariat avec des taxi, moins cher que le bus à deux. Sinon arrêt de bus juste à coté. Je ne suis vraiment pas déçu de mon choix. « We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. « Friendly staff, clean hotel, excellent location (walking distance from the train station as well as from the Shambles and the Minster). Our only downfall was the construction work that was a but noisy in the morning, and the fact that the fan in the bathroom was not efficient (it would ger humid after a shower). Would recommend this hotel ! »
