This VRBO home is very nice. The house feels large and is well laid out. Beds, Linens, basic supplies, cooking utensils - this home has it all. Easy check in and check out process. The view of the strait, spit and lighthouse is excellent.
We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Manor. The house was perfect for our group of 4 - plenty of room. Great kitchen. The best location, right on the Straight. The beach is private for residents of the communtiy and we had it to ourselves during our stay. One thing that should be updated in the property listing - there are two full baths. The listing says 1 full and one 1/2 bath. We were very pleasantly surprised to have 2 full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bath has a walk in shower; the downstairs bath has a tub with shower. I will definitly stay here again when I get back to Sequim.
Family of 5 had a great time and loved the beautiful sea view right on the water. Bedrooms were comfortable and once we figured out the Nest thermostat the heating was sufficient even during the winter storms. The location was nice and quiet except for the lovely sound of the ocean lapping on the beach. Weâd definitely stay here again!
The house was beautiful and very clean. The views are stunning. The weather was gorgeous. We could go out the back door and be on the beach in 5 minutes for long wonderful walks. We loved this place!!
We greatly enjoyed out stay at Lighthouse Manor. The property is right on the beach and we absolutely loved walking out the back door and strolling up and down the beach. Wonderful!
This house was everything we wanted and more. The location was beautiful and the house had all the Accommodations we needed.
It was very clean and well kept. The smell from the shore alge was the only issue, which we knew ahead of time, but didn't realize it would be so bad. All in all we had a great time!
The house was very nice and comfortable. The views were gorgeous, between the view of the Strait, the Olympics, and the Dungeness lighthouse there was always interesting views. The only downside was the smell, which we couldnât decide if it was a sewer spill, rotting seaweed, or a combination. It was not something that the owner could help with, but the odor and murky sludge on the beach made the area less than perfect. It did not stop us from enjoying our trip and was most likely a rare occurrence. We would definitely return!
The house is lovely. The location had some major issues
Very clean and well maintained and appointed property. Beautiful setting, but I wish I had known that a) there had recently been what seemed to be a massive algal bloom and die-off in the neighborhood, the smell of which was nearly intolerable, and b) apparently waterfowl hunting just opened up the weekend of our stay and we got to watch ducks being shot out of the sky and shotgun blasts starting at 8am at the private property right across the street.
The house is ideally built for view and comfort. The first floor bedroom has a kingsize bed, not the twins shown on website. Unfortunately, the beach was covered with stinking seaweed and odor was evident in the house.
We stayed at this property for a family vacation. The house is very clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. We enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the ships, boats, birds and seals.
Great house in a great location with beautiful views! Would definitely try to stay here again when we return to Sequim. We are 3 couples on an annual trip together - this house provided everything we could possibly need. Only suggestion is heavier window coverings for upstairs bedrooms so we could sleep in a little :)
This house has a location that can't be beat. The futon is really separate from the living areas so it's really like another bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked.
Stunning views of the Olympic mountain range, wetlands and Strait of Juan de Fuca. The house is perfect for two couples with family Kentucky of privacy. This was our second time renting the house.
The location of this was house was perfect for our family. We were able to watch our kids play on the shore from the comfort of the living room on cold days. We saw eagles, otters, and seals. And then you walk out the front door to views of the mountains.
The house was a bit dated but pleasant. We loved our week there and would love to go back.
