The condo is well located along SMB. Weather-permitting, it's walkable to Camana Bay and other shops/restaurants.
We used to own this unit and sold it furnished, so we were a bit sad to see just how whitewashed and basic the place feels now (although the pictures reflect this decor). Nevertheless, it was clean and spacious, and adequate for our family. One aspect that is not depicted well is the status of the beach. In the photo of the primary bedroom, the white sand looks to be intact much further out than what currently exists.
The broken retaining wall right outside of the balcony is really an eyesore, and the beach umbrellas are beat up. Overall, the common areas just feel very tired. We received notice of the retaining wall issue a couple days prior to our stay. Unbeknownst to us, 7Mile has been suffering for quite some time, prior to Hurricane Beryl's visit in early July. In retrospect, I see why the beach is not depicted in any of the photos. It's better than some neighboring properties, though, which have no sand at all!
There are many short-term rental units in this complex now, so the vibe is more hotel-like, but guests were respectful in common areas and our stay was pleasant. The management company was able to provide some snorkel and pool toys for the kids, which was nice. Daily housekeeping services is a nice amenity, although they no-showed on one of our last days.
Overall, a good stay. Grateful for some sand, but a bit sad knowing what once was...
