We had a beautiful, intimate wedding at this property, and I want to start by saying the space itself is incredible… even better than the photos. It was the perfect backdrop for our day.We obtained event insurance and paid a separate event deposit, which was no issue. Unfortunately, our experience with the property management was deeply unprofessional.On the day of our wedding, the property manager showed up unannounced and entered the home without permission, claiming they were “dropping off trash bags.” We never requested this, and no one contacted us beforehand. This happened minutes before our ceremony.While inside, they took photos of our wedding and other guests without consent. We know this because they later sent the photos while attempting to withhold our deposit. The property manager also sat in the driveway for nearly an hour watching us pack up our cars before checkout the next day. Entering the property without permission severely violates VRBO’s guest privacy policy, and I have formally reported this host to the platform.We had professional event staff handle cleanup & left the property exactly as we found it, which we documented. The host has since claimed we scratched the floor, despite our thorough documentation of the condition of the home upon arrival (including the floor that was already damaged).Knowing what I know now, I would not book this property or advise others to do so, which is sad because we had an otherwise special day.

There were bugs and cobwebs. We let the host know about the bugs but they didnt seem to alarmed. Floors in multiple showers felt like they were going to fall through any moment. We were not told we would need to provide dishwasher pods and trash bags.

We hosted our wedding at this home, and it truly was magical. The views are absolutely breathtaking, photos don’t do them justice. The home itself is stunning and made for such a memorable experience.That said, communication with the owner and management company wasn’t the easiest. Even during our stay, it was hard to know who to contact for simple things like how to dispose of recycling. If you’re planning an event here, patience is key, responses can take time, and the management side can feel a bit disorganized. The listing sometimes says one thing, while the information you get from the management company says another, so it’s best to have everything in writing. My only real feedback would be to improve communication between the owner, management, and guests.However, when it really mattered, they came through. Everything I was worried about before the big day was taken care of, even if they weren’t always able to confirm details ahead of time. The on-site crew was so kind, friendly, and helpful, and I truly appreciated their efforts.Despite the communication hurdles, the experience overall was wonderful, and I’m already hoping to come back annually just to enjoy the beauty and peace of this incredible home.

The cabin itself and the views were INCREDIBLE. You truly could not beat the Mountain View’s during peak fall season. Our only complaints were that we ended up unable to get into the cabin until 5pm, an hour after we were supposed to be able to, due to the cleaning people not being done until then. We also could have used more towels and blankets. Apparently the previous guests had also stolen remotes for the TV’s and fireplaces, and the property management was supposed to come by and bring us remotes the correct sized garbage bags but never did. One of the bathroom showers didn’t drain (lower floor, closest to the living room) and the AC didn’t seem to be working or was either freezing cold or super hot on both floors. Other than those little hiccups, the cabin was wonderful to host our families, the kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and was able to stay comfortably. We would definitely stay again despite the little issues. Could not recommend coming here in the fall enough!

Misrepresented Property, Rude Hosts, and a Stressful StayWe booked this home for a special weekend, but it was a huge disappointment. The “breathtaking views” in the listing were completely blocked by overgrown shrubs and trees, a major issue we raised on day one. Despite daily follow-ups and empty promises from the hosts and maintenance staff, nothing was done until checkout, ruining the backdrop for our planned events.In addition to the false advertising, we dealt with leaking AC units dripping over the dining table and floors, again reported, again ignored. But the bigger issue was the property manager, Mary, who was rude, defensive, and made communication unnecessarily tense. Staff entered the property without notice at all hours, disregarding boundaries, and any sense of guest privacy.Vendors we hired for the weekend shared their own poor experiences with the property owners and management. The property pays no heed to customer complaints, is misrepresented online, and lacks basic courtesy of even acknowledging the problems we faced. Guests are held to strict contracts, deposits, and insurance requirements, yet the hosts show no accountability. When we tried to follow up after the stay, we were met with dismissive, even intimidating messages, as if we should be grateful for simply having lodging. They tried to distract with irrelevant claims about waived wedding fees and downplayed the situation. All in all, not worth the money.

The home was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family reunion. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The theater room and game room were super fun. The property is fairly secluded and quiet and it does have amazing views of the mountains. Fairly convenient access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would definitely recommend this home for big groups.

This was our annual family vacation. Several in our group commented on how well the cabin is maintained. The cabin is in a private setting with an enjoyable outdoor space and amazing view. Hosts are great and we left anticipating a return in the future.

Wedding Weekend

The cabin itself is absolutely amazing—clean, spacious, and the view is truly incredible. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway, and we really enjoyed our time there in terms of the property and location.However, communication with the hosts was extremely difficult and at times frustrating. Any time we asked a question, we were told they had to ask someone else, and at times never received answers prior to our stay. During our stay we reported that the fire pit wasn’t working, we got no response at all. The hot tub was also not working but we didn’t reach out because never got any responses back during our stay. We also held our small wedding here (just a 20-minute ceremony with 23 guests, all staying at the property), and unfortunately, it was a nightmare to plan with the hosts. There were several hidden fees that were never listed on Vrbo—such as a wedding fee, required insurance, and even a mandatory security guard—despite the event being very low-key and intimate with no reception. These details would have been helpful to know up front.I would recommend this cabin for a vacation or group stay, as the property itself is wonderful. But I would recommend it for hosting a wedding or special event but be aware of the lack of clear communication and unexpected costs.

Dream Wedding Weekend!

We booked breathtaking views for our wedding weekend. Our wedding party, parents, grandparents, and us all stayed at the cabin for the weekend, and our guests joined us for a few hours on the Saturday for the ceremony and reception. The rooms were spacious and just as pictured on site, the team had the furniture arranged inside just as we requested for the event, and the property manager was on call standby for any support we needed. When we arrived, we did not have the right code to get in, but the property manager promptly (5 minutes) sent us the correct one. The grass was high out back when we arrived due to a lot of rain that week, and the property manager was ready to send someone to get it cut prior to our event. Fortunately, we knew someone in the area who cuts mountain lawns who was able to immediately, and the venue reimbursed us for lawn care cost. We coordinated our own vendors for the event (photography, DJ, caterer, etc), and the venue helped us coordinate event insurance. It was such a pleasure to work with the venue and event staff leading up to our stay, and our weekly was truly BREATHTAKING. Thank you Breathtaking Views for a beautiful cabin and intimate event space!!! If you're looking for a family getaway or intimate retreat/wedding, I highly recommend Breathtaking Views! If I am able, I will add photos once we get them back from the photographer.

We had 22 family members from around the country get together at this location. It was absolutely beautiful and the amount of room and amenities offered was perfect. The views are truly amazing and the peaceful, quiet area is perfect. We had a few visits from a family of cats and a small black bear. It was truly memorable for all!

Amazing youth group trip

Our church youth group was able to spend the most amazing 3 nights at this house. The views were absolutely incredible, the house itself was the perfect size for out 40 members; it was very spacious, clean, and full of many activities like billiard, theater room, and much more! The only downfall was that our bus wasn't able to drive up the steep roads, but it all worked out with taxis! Thank you for having us!

Where do I start? Pictures does not do this cabin and view justice. It's absolutely beautiful, spacious, homey, peaceful and much more. My husband and I decided to have our wedding here and we were far from disappointed. The views, the amenities, the comfort of having so much space and no one "bumping" into each other. I can write a book! if you're looking into a cabin that host a large family - seek no other. This is your vacation spot.
