The house itself is beautiful however we did run into some problems while staying there. The balcony door on the main floor has no deadbolt and will unlock by simply twisting the knob, making it very easy for young children to open the door and you can easily locked out. There no tv in the main living room. The stairs are slick, we had someone fall on the first day. The dishwasher was absolutely filthy, it didn’t clean the dishes and upon further inspection had mold everywhere. We had to hand wash dishes the whole stay. There’s also not enough cooking equipment for somewhere that can house a lot of people. The outside balcony railings are very short (hip height on a 5’ 6” person) and they can be easily climbed by young children. The indoor balcony railing was taller than the outdoor railings. We did have bears get into the trash bins multiple times throughout our stay. They bent the lock on the cage, making it impossible to lock it back. We contacted the host multiple times and they said they would send someone to fix it and they never did. One of the toilets in the main floor stopped flushing, bathroom doors wouldn’t lock, someone’s personal belongings were left under the cabinet in the downstairs bathroom. The fire pit outside is right next to the trash bins so smell from the trash made it impossible to enjoy the fire pit and the outdoor grill area. The driveway is also in a horrible blind spot so it was hard to get in and out of. We will not be staying here again.
