My family absolutely loved this house. It accommodated enough room for the 4 of us to be where we wanted comfortably. My favorite place was the deck with the breath taking view. It rained almost the whole time and we still had the best time . Highly recommend. The owners are very prompt on responding . House is 3 bedroom 2 bath with 2 living rooms ,a fireplace, a laundry area,a beautiful deck, and a hot tub with the best view . Kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring the food. Bring extra towels and maybe a laptop or something to have a tv in one of the bedrooms. Remember you are staying in the mountains so all the roads are sketchy. Just take your time and youll be fine. Hope yal enjoy your stay as much as we did.
This is in a quiet, peaceful area with only 1 other house close by. We had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The upstairs has a living area with large screen TV plus a TV in bedroom and a full bath . The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances . Overall this is the perfect place to getaway and relax away from the noise and traffic.
For what we paid, this was disappointing. The home was not clean. The table and coffee table were very sticky, the floor in the kitchen was very sticky, the walls are very dirty, many of the dishes were dirty- we had to wash everything before use. The deck was very dirty- tons of dead lady bugs, moldy place mats and a table covered in pollen. We did not use the hot tub because the cover was covered in mold and we did not use the grill because it was filled with debris. There were lots of bees and wasps so it was hard to enjoy any space outside. The tap water had a very bad smell. The management was very quick to fix a clogged tub drain our first day. We figured we would just make the most of it since we were spending most of our time at attractions and only sleeping at the house. A thorough cleaning would go a long way. We certainly weren't expecting perfection and were happy to stay at an older home with quirks, but it was pretty gross.
The home was amazing except for the water smell, it was awful. The drive up was a little steep but that is to be expected staying on a mountaintop. Would definitely book again!
High cleaning fees for dirty bathrooms.
Price for the night is cheap but with high fees you can stay somewhere better.
There are not sign to guide you to the cabin.
Beds are comfy and views are the best you can find.
The view was very good. Some reviews have complained about the road getting to the property. It is a mountain road and to get a view this good, it requires traveling on some narrow mountain roads with sharp turns and considerable elevation change.
There are some significant issues with this property. The listing says that the loft bedroom has a king-sized bed. It does NOT; the bed is definitely a queen. I seriously doubt that this bedroom has ever housed a king bed because the space is very limited. Let's just say that if you tried to put a kind bed in there, you would have to crawl over the foot of the bed to get into it. There are definitely some issues with cleanliness with this house. We found a clipped toenail in one of the bedrooms that was not removed by those who cleaned before our arrival. There was no soap in either of the bathrooms. The main level bath had 2 soap dispensers but both were empty. There was no soap dispenser in the upstairs bath at all. There were several lights that didn't work in the house, either because the light bulb was burned out or was missing all together. The two clocks in the living room did not work at all--probably needed new batteries. The screen on the porch had several holes/tears in it. Probably the worst thing is that my wife and I both ended up with bug bites that we are pretty sure came from staying at this property Hers could have possibly come from sitting on the porch but mine did not as I chose to stay inside.
Great views! A little anxiety getting up to the property but it was well worth it! Only minor negative things but it did not interfere with our stay at all. Batteries in tv remotes needed replaced, lightbulbs needed changing in some rooms and the front door did not shut all the way unless locked, other than that it was a great long weekend with my adult & teenage children.
We expected a cozy, chill, secluded place with a great porch and an awesome view to hang out for the week and it certainly delivered. We were pleasantly surprised that it was even a bit more spacious than we expected from the photos. And with the large sofas and the loft room we had enough space for all 6 people to have their own space. My husband and I had a room, MIL her own room, the 17 year old got her own room, and the 14yo and 9 yo chose the loft room and sofas for their space. We didnât feel at all âon top of each otherâ as we thought we might. And it was so close to so much. If we ever go to Pigeon Forge again weâll certainly keep this great little mountain house in mind.
Out of the stay we book we only stayed 1 night. The road to the cabin was pretty sketchy, there are no lights outside to light up the side porch where you come in. The unit seriously needs some cleaning and it looks like it has seen better days. For what we paid I was really disappointed and felt really uncomfortable there. We had to find a hotel to finish out our stay.
