The kitchen had no baking sheets. We have to get back out to purchase disposable. There were only small casserole dishes. When we arrived there was blood on the mattress and pad. The host responded and had cleaning come but she only gave us a mattress pad and couldn’t explain to me why she didn’t already try to put another pad on the bed and make the bed. The mattress upstairs needs to be completely replaced. Also the towels barely fit around an adult body. There were only 3 towels per room. The location was good for us and the view was really nice.

The cabin is beautiful & was very roomy for our family of 5 adults & 2 children. The view is also beautiful! The host, Nick, is great & responds quickly. The only issues we experienced was the AC in one of the downstairs bedrooms didn't seem to work. It was very warm in that room. Also, the kitchen is in need of a new frying pan. We bought one to be able to cook breakfast. Outside of the actual cabin, the neighborhood pool was not heated as described in the listing. However, Nick advised us that was out of his control. The conditions of the pool are the responsibility of the neighborhood. We would definitely rent this cabin fir another stay!

We had a blast! So close to Dollywood!! Seems like you have a private entrance. Plenty of towels, soap, etc… definitely bring seasonings, which is stated, but that wasn’t a problem for us!! The whole family loved the game room. Loved how the house is set up!

Great Christmas Family celebration

Our family of 9 enjoyed a festive stay including watching the end of evening Dollywood fireworks from the deck. The cabin was spacious and well equipped for cooking meals and provided plenty of options for our multi-generational group. It was easy to get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and was located in a quiet resort with an indoor pool that the kids enjoyed.

Family Time

Overall, the cabin was very nice and clean. Loved the view from the balcony! The owner was very responsive to our concerns. My only recommendation is to replace some of the pillows and wash cloths. The pillows were stiff and flat and the wash cloths were very thin and rough.

Family Vacation

Check in was very easy. Nick sent the information several days ahead of time. House was very close to Dollywood which was super convenient. We watched the fireworks from the balcony every night. The pool was closed our first few days which was very disappointing but Nick was keeping in communication with us and let us know as soon as it was open. Despite what past reviews said, the pool was crowded during the week we were there but that didn’t stop us from using it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

So Close to Dollywood

We were mainly visiting Dollywood on this trip and this was the perfect location for that! We didn’t have to venture through traffic to get to Dollywood each day. The cabin itself is very beautiful. I would suggest offering some extra towels and better pots and pans in the kitchen. But overall the cabin was clean, communication was good, and it was a fantastic location for Dollywood. .

Family Getaway

The property was pretty clean. The check in process was super easy. The listing advertises up to four dogs but the property manager says they typically only allow up to two dogs. Communication was ok. Very steep road coming up to the cabin. Parking was better if you have more than one car to park at an angle. It is super close to Dollywood. Very nice location to stay with a family. We felt it is very rare to find all bedrooms to have a king bed like this one did. Which was super nice. I would advise everybody going to bed at the same time since the three bedrooms downstairs hear every foot step above them. I would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Great cabin, great views, well equipped - needs deep cleaning though.

4 couples stayed here for NYE weekend. I realize some things are out of the control of the owner, who may live in another state, so I try to keep that in mind. The first couple arrived at 3:45 pm and check-in was at 4. The cabin had not been cleaned. I contacted Nick who was VERY responsive and the cleaning ladies arrived within 15 minutes. This was an extremely cold day in Pigeon Forge so when everyone started arriving we mostly stayed outside or in cars to stay out of the way of cleaners. They did clean, however it was a quick 1 hour 15 min. job (we waited). That's really not enough to clean a 4 bed/ 4 1/2 bath home.They did a sufficient job (realizing were waiting & ready to unload) and were very apologetic. With all that said the cabin was at the end of what was probably a very busy fall season and really needs a deep cleaning and DUSTING. It appeared alot of stuff literally was swept under the rug in living room and Christmas tree skirt. When the first couple arrived the cleaning ladies younger daughter was taking dishes out of the dishwasher to put away in cabinets that were obviously dirty. Might be better to advise your renters to START the dishwasher before leaving to prevent any confusion on whether dishes were clean or not. The industry standard is to load AND START the dishwasher before leaving.The cabin is in a great location and has beautiful views (picture windows need cleaning bad though). Kitchen was very well equipped and nice dishes! Worth renting!

Pool was heated but had plastic doors on either side of the building that let freezing cold air in. We only could stay in the pool about 30 mins before we had to leave. No heater in pool complex.

Disappointing Stay at Mountain Gateway - HA-JGPTHC - 2194518

Firstly, the clogged drains in both bathrooms were a significant inconvenience. I had to manually clean out hair and debris in order to get the showers to drain properly, which was far from the comfortable and hassle-free experience I had anticipated. Additionally, the presence of smears and handprints on the windows, as well as the lack of cleanliness on the floors and carpets, left me with a less than satisfactory impression of the property's maintenance. In one particular bedroom, I found blonde hair on the pool table and covering various surfaces, including countertops and bedding. This not only raised concerns about cleanliness but also made me question the thoroughness of the property's cleaning procedures. Cobwebs on bathroom light fixtures further added to the impression that the property had not been adequately prepared for guests. The condition of the hot tub was another disappointment. The water had visible white debris floating in it, and it felt "slimy" to the touch, as if there were lotions or oils in the water. This made it difficult for me to enjoy what should have been a relaxing amenity. Finally, during the last two days of my visit, one of the TVs in the property would not turn on, which affected my ability to unwind and enjoy some downtime. I believe that providing honest feedback is essential for the improvement of your property and the satisfaction of future guests. While I understand that issues can arise, I hope you will take my concerns seriously
