"We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. "Daisy’s cottage was the perfect space for our group of six adults. We enjoyed the kitchen space and the ability to eat in after long days exploring the area. Three bathrooms was also a huge plus! The cottage is convenient to Cork City, Cobh, and even a reasonable drive to Waterford. You definitely need a car if staying here. The property manager was great and easy to get in touch with! "Parking in a nearby lot which is walkable and reasonably priced. Excellent hotel with excellent amenities especially the gym, coffee shop and bar. shower was amazing. Staff is helpful. there is a train station on one side of the building, if you are a light sleeper consider the opposite side. Would definitely recommend staying here. The decor of the rooms with record player is pretty cool."
