« We had a wonderful stay at No. 29. Our host, Chris, was very welcoming and thoughtful. We loved the personal touches, from the delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us on arrival to the cafetière coffee provided in our room. Our room was peaceful, quiet, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, perfectly cooked with a wide selection, including even more homemade cake and the best homemade bread I’ve ever tasted! « It's ok if you just want a bed for the evening. Very tired throughout and needs a full refurb desperately. The reception was sketchy at best and often unmanned. Don't bother with breakfast. It's not good That being said, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Shanklin itself is also run down. We used the hotel as a base for the scooter rally, so didn't spend much time there, although we did like The Falcon pub. A proper local boozer. If you only need to get to Ryde, if...

« Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also. »

Le petit déjeuner est très bon tant il s'agit la version cuisinée ou la version continentale. À deux pas du Shanklin Chine et de la plage. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute ! »
