Cabanes à Shenandoah

« This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

« This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Beds were comfy and water pressure for bathing was great. The interior design and the layout of the living/dining room and kitchen was...

« I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants...

« The stay was good, we would rent a cabin again. At this property an extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated. We didn't use the hottub, we enjoyed the fire pit. »

« Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was exceptional, clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is for a privacy fence at the end of the drive. We had kids on dirt bikes watching us in the hot tub from the end of the drive. Otherwise I would fully recommend. We will stay there again in the future. »

« In the hustle and bustle of the electrical contracting world, this place was a perfect retreat from the grind. The hot tub was amazing and the views were even better. The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week. Will be taking other adventures soon and you’ll be at the top of the list for communicating on future endeavors.! »

« Great place in a beautiful part of the country! Super quiet, well furnished, and a lovel place to spend some time. Hot tub was great and there's a small creek a few minutes away to catch crawfish and cool off. Highly recommended. »

« Clean rooms and towels. Comforting but very roomie. »

« We had a great stay »

« My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this...
