« My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

« Nice cabin to relax. Very kid and pet friendly. The host was easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome. »

« We had a great time in West Virginia and the Chalet. The properry was well maintained and the host was very proactive with checking in to see if we arrived and got inside without incident, and to see if we needed anythjng. »

« As a teacher, I needed something to look forward to for the end of my school year. This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing...

« The perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, relaxing and a great location. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out in the hammocks, and the nature around us. We have seen hawks, deer, even turtles running around. Everything that you need in a cabin. Close to town and all the area attractions. Host was great to work with and very communicative all the way through. Will definitely return in the future. »

« Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub! »

« Property was clean. The view was amazing! Property manager was very responsive with any questions. My family and I will definitely be using them again if we ever go back to West Virginia. »

« We stayed for a weekend getaway with our family. Kids loved the house. It was clean and the A/C blew cold during this 90 degree heat wave we had. Had a lot of amenities. Basically anything you would need. We had a small issue while we were staying and Paul quickly rectified it. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! »

« Quick getaway for family. Cabin was excellent, beds very comfortable, wood floors, 2 br, 2 bath perfect for our group. Nice jacouzi in master br upstairs. Ramp to front door, perfect for our elderly dog. Only thing the kids didn’t like was no internet at the cabin - would have to go to the spa to have internet. Sliding glass door to balcony with chairs was a plus. »

« Cabin was exactly as described. I would add more gravel or some kind of walk way by the doors so not tracking mud and dirt in if raining. Otherwise it was a great getaway. »

« What an amazing cabin with so many great amenities. This was just what we needed wish we had more days to stay. Everything from the booking, the listing, communication with host, to the gift basket. Whiskey Acres is definitely worth checking out. Andrew was wonderful in making sure we needed nothing and everything was perfect. If you want a great cabin to stay in with modern amenities this is the place. Thanks again. »

« The communication leading up to the visit was wonderful. The cabin is nicely stocked and the solitude was needed. We loved the property and walking my dog along the well marked path was fantastic. The Weber grill was great. So impressed with this cabin and so happy we stayed there. Thanks! »

« This cabin is incredible! We were blown away as soon as we walked in! The place is decorated beautifully throughout. From the amazing view off the deck, to the hot tub, to the extra blankets and coziest living room ever. The host has thought of all the details. « Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. »
