« Beautiful setting with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is charming, renovated, updated, clean, and comfortable. Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. »

« Everything was great. We loved the flowers. I was checking out all the pictures and quilts. It stayed quiet, no traffic or fire calls. It was neat for sure. »

« We could not have found a better place for three childhood friends to reunite! The home has everything you need and Jay is extremely responsive. A true home away from hom. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and are already making plans to come back in the fall. »

« Beautiful property, amazing house. We had four generations stay for a family getaway ranging from 7 months old to 87 years old. The kitchen was easy to cook in, we could all sit around the table and hang out in the main room. The indoor pool was amazing! Being next door to the brewery was nice! The view from the deck was gorgeous. Lisa had incredible customer service! We hope to be back! »

« Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

« The house was just as described in the listing. Kyle was very responsive before and during our stay. It was nice being on the river so we could fish and kayak. The grandkids loved the game room as well as the bedroom lofts. There was plenty of room for us to spread out on the enclosed porch and deck. I would recommend this charming place to anyone interested in staying near Berkeley Springs. »

« Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Easy access to the river and very close to town. Scott was easy to reach if I ever had any questions. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to the canal trail is wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. House is adorable. Kitchen could be better equipped. I bought a few extra coffee cups and left them for the next guests. »

« The A Frame Mountain Retreat was an excellent choice for our girls trip! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and true to the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and cute firepit area immensely There were some ants, which is to be expected in the middle of the woods, but keeping all of our food in sealed containers or the fridge helped. Kim, the host, was informative and prompt to respond. I felt well prepared prior to arrival. The location was nice. You really feel like you’re secluded in the woods....
