„Sehr schön hergerichtetes traditionelles Haus. Mit einem schönen Garten. Etwas hellhörig und leider nur ein Satz Handtücher für eine komplette Woche, obwohl "mit Handtüchern ausgestattet" beschrieben ist. Alles in allem aber trotzdem eine tolle Unterkunft “

„Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! “

„The home is gorgeous, spotless, and the location is fantastic. . Great walk to Kiyomizu Dera, Ryozen Kannon, Yasaka Shrine, Kenninji and more. There are some fantastic nearby restaurants and bars. The distance to train stations are great. The beds could be a bit softer, but I did not try the japanese futons. It would be nice to have better instructions for the shower and bath controls.“

„Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!“

The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. “
