This is a quaint, little cottage built by the owner himself (who is an accomplished painter and climbed a peak in the Himalayas). The hosts are very helpful and prepared some thoughtful touches, such as a free bottle of white wine, a French baguette, free coffee and free exquisite Lupicia tea. The rooms are clean and a Marunaka food supermarket is 15 minutes away.
In front of the cottage there is a beautiful garden, full of butterflies.
If you arrive at night time, it is pitch dark in the area, so make sure you notify the owners so they can guide you to the cottage, which is located about 600 feet away from the main house on a very narrow road.
The owner speaks English and is very helpful if something is needed. We had a very pleasant experience and would love to come back.
