Mediocre experience

The main level fridge was broken the first day we arrived and it took two days for them to send someone out to fix it. Two of the ceiling fans were broken. One in the upstairs room and one in a main level bedroom. The host sent two old terrible box fans to try to fix the situation instead of fixing the ceiling fans. The house was unbearably hot until 10pm each night and without the fans, the upstairs room was awful. They put the two smallest ceiling fans in the large living area and they are completely inadequate for the size of the space. They also advertise that they have cooking equipment and the pans might have been in the worst condition possible. Stay here if you want to be unbearably hot and never want to be in the house and if you want to bring your own pans to a vacation home. Their cooking utensils and equipment were terrible and ruined the first two meals we had. The host was deceiving in a lot of their ad. Stay here if you don’t want to be enjoying the house until 10pm and if you don’t want to cook at all. The couches were comfy and the area was nice. Everything else that the host has control of was subpar and showed a lack of care from their side. They went cheap with everything and expect a premium price from it, without taking care of the guests.

Great location, lots of space

This location is ideal! Beautiful views of the mountains out of every window as well as Dillon Reservoir and hiking trails out the back door. We were two families—4 adults, 3 teens, & 2 little kids and had plenty of space for all of us without ever feeling crowded.

All good, exactly as described. Very roomy for large group, kitchen was well stocked. Only reason for not 5 star was beds were good not great, any plastic cover on mattress was very hot. Maybe a good reason for plastic cover? I would recommend for large group.

Silverthorne / Wildernest Ideal!

Had a great stay at this beautiful mountain home. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms for a larger group. Especially appreciated the built in wooden baby gates at each stairway level to keep little ones safe. The kitchen layout with bar/island and large kitchen table was absolutley perfect! The lower level rec space is a great asset for younger kids or teens. This house should have a porta-crib and a high chair included. We rented both and did not care for the high chair provided by managment co. Not up to standards. Overall - fantastic home and would love to rent again!

Silverthorne Wedding

We really enjoyed the space , it was perfect. But a few things, the beds that have the protecter mattress covers are extremely hot. They need to have an extra layer or two before the sheets. A few of us slept on couch’s. The “master” bedroom has a Murphy bed??? At least one King size bed in the house would be nice. More would be better. Thanks for labeling the light switches! 😂there’s so many! Overall it was a very nice experience. My family lives all over so we’re not all together very often. My main goal for our time there was to enjoy grandchildren and that was accomplished.

Great home for families

Overall, a lovely, comfortable home with everything needed for family gatherings. The home was clean and the kitchen was especially well equipped. Great setup for children on the lower level. If the mattresses were newer and more comfortable, we would give it a higher rating. The Murphy bed in one of the main bedrooms was uncomfortable for two adults.

Family Reunion

The ten of us enjoyed the house. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms and common spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great place to recover from our adventures. The property management responded quickly to our requests. The location was convenient but located on a busy road.

Worse place to stay at

I would not recommend this property to anyone don’t get fooled by photos on the web site. Let me tell how bad this place was , when we walked to the house it smelled musty dust was everywhere dead bugs on the carpet, ice maker did not work , Coffee maker did not work, dishwasher was discussing had foul smell and door to detergent holder would not close, ignition on the gas grill was broken, hot tub did not heat up, dishes in the cabinets were dirty !! Management company was the worst I have dealt with they did not care about all this issues. Please do not advertise this property! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Needs repairs

Nice mountain house with views. Needs a new dishwasher and outside grill. Both items impacted our stay. Murphy beds were uncomfortable for adults. The sliding door to the deck needs repair as well. Very hard to open and close! A good rental but needs some repairs before I would rent again.

Disappointed

The house was beautiful with an incredible view however the place was not clean carpet was not vacuumed properly and was dirty. The sink in the kitchen was a stained mess I cleaned it myself with bleach I had to because the dishwasher did not work properly the baskets for silverware were broken and it did not drain there was standing water in it when we arrived. The house had miss in the lower level there were droppings and mousetraps all around the boiler room so the management company knew they were there. I called maintenance to fill the hot tub as the water level was low on arrival no one came until this morning when we were leaving. We only had one key we asked for another never got it. My manual said I could have a change of towels but when I called for that they said I had to go and get them myself at their management facility. I ended up washing them myself. For the amount of money charged for cleaning it was a huge disappointment I was on vacation and I had to do laundry and clean.

Perfect

We loved our stay. The house was beautiful and just as described. We had plenty of room for our family of 7, plenty of dishes in the kitchen, and the downstairs area offered an extra living area which allowed extra room to spread out. The views from the large windows was so beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and we even saw a fox on the back deck one evening. The location was perfect for us to ski in Keystone and was also convenient to visit Breckenridge, Frisco, and we drove to Winter Park one day.

Winter Ski House

Beautiful, roomy ski house for 3 families. Three sets of parents got comfy rooms each with bathroom/showers, and all the kids piled downstairs in bunk room & adjacent living room pull outs sofas. Great size kitchen, living room & dining room/table to fit us all. Amenities: lots of blankets, pillows, towels; big tv, appliances all great…Hot tub was nice! Left owner improvement suggestions: need to fix patio door which is hard to open/close/lock, need to sharpen all kitchen knives, and need to fix dishwasher soap door.
