would have been a great stay if we didn't have to stay elsewhere
we got there at night and couldn't get in (found out the next day we were given the wrong code). we were on the phone for a good hour and 45 with vacasa, and were told many different things. they were awaiting a call from local manager, who never called back. they say 24/7 service, but that is futile if there is no one there to service. very long story short, we had to pay for a hotel, which raised the cost of our trip significantly. we drove back and forth between the hotel and the original property after being told we were being serviced by (relocation specialists) and after getting back, got an email that the property could not be accessed. we were able to access the next day and the place was actually nice, clean and comfortable. but we were out money and time because of the error. they also charge if you want a later check out. even if they make a mistake which costs you money. they could have something really good if they communicated better.
The place reeked of smoke. I contacted the company and, while they were nice via text messages, the property manager never contacted me despite me contacting them 4 times. They said they would escalate my case each time without any success. You should know the kitchen doesnât have anything to cook. There are plates and cups only. No pots or pans to even fry an egg. The parking spot is also impossible to get in and out of and there are nails in the grass where we were supposed to park. We got a flat tire out of it. I hope the company comes through with a resolution to make it up to us. I will gladly update my review based on how the resolution goes.
