„Wunderschönes Resort mit sehr gepflegter Gartenanlage. Obwohl das Hotel sehr gut ausgebucht war, spürte man die Anwesenheit der anderen Gästen kaum. Dem Servicepersonal fehlt es noch etwas an Training, doch dies wird mit Freundlichkeit und Charme wieder wettgemacht. Ein grosses und vielseitiges Buffet kann man zu den jeweiligen Mahlzeiten erwarten. Hier wünschte ich mir noch etwas mehr à la minute gebratener Fisch bzw. Fleisch, da dies warmgehalten schnell an Qualität verliert. Alles in allem ...

„Liegt direkt am Meer, jedes Zimmer hat einen tollen Blick. Das Personal familiär freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, der Pool schön sauber, direkt davor ein wunderbarer Sandstrand, Baden im Meer kein Problem. Marawila ist kein typischer Touristenort, die Auswahl an Restaurants nicht groß. Dafür bietet das Hotel leckeres Frühstück und eine landestypische Speisekarte. Sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt.“

„Ok - where do I start! The “rooms” where not ready when we arrived- no one was expecting us in fact, I spoke to the lovely lady who owned the place and she explained that her rooms where usually pay by the hour (ugh). We had no choice but to stay here - one of the rooms had no lock and another had no bed! This was soon rectified but not to a satisfaction we would expect. There where no televisions in the rooms, no fridges (not even a plug socket!) one room didn’t even have bedding! ...

„Lovely hotel. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Excellent Sri Lankan style food, cold beers, and beautiful grounds and lovely swimming pool. Rooms were spacious, clean and had AC and a fan. Thoroughly recommend it. “

„I tried to check in on the day at Ayowa Grand Hotel and the Hotel management refuse to let us check in saying they did not received money I paid on line! I have the proof from commercial bank that I paid 91.98 USD for the 2 rooms I booked but the hotel management refuse demanding I pay again and check in.
