Ocean View Hilltop Retreat - Skenes Creek

A Cape Cod cottage on a hilltop above Skenes Creek, under old cypress trees, with the ocean on one side and rolling hills on the other. You're in the countryside up here, but the beach and Apollo Bay are only a few minutes down the road.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living areas over two floors. Downstairs is open plan with an open fire and the wood provided. Upstairs there's a larger rumpus with the TV, Netflix, board games and books, plus the master and its ensuite.

The gardens wrap right around the house: a picnic table, a Weber and garden chairs angled at the view. There are bicycles in the garage if you want to ride Broughtons Access, so bring helmets.

The sunsets over the hills are what people come back for and on a clear night you can see the Milky Way from the garden.

Two things to know. A small overland flow runs through the front garden, thick with frogs and vegetation, so keep an eye on little ones near it. And the hilltop makes its own weather, which can turn quickly, so pack something warm.
