The unit itself was nice and comfortable, but several issues impacted our stay. Check-in required waiting for someone to bring a physical key (but they were quick for us) ; the door keypad was dead and the main door code did not work, so we had to use a backup code. The unit was clean, though a few updates would help, and the shower area was very dark and not ideal for bathing small children.The resort (Allegheny Springs) appeared poorly maintained, with leftover cups and trash in the lobby and common areas that remained for multiple days. Staff were not very helpful with questions, the vending machines were out of order (on both sides) and there were no quick-service options on-site, making even bottled water difficult to obtain. Valet service was listed but was not an option our entire stay and parking across the street was inconvenient. Overall, the unit was fine, but the resort would benefit from better management and maintenance.
