We stayed here for a month in July. Check-in was easy. They have paddle boats, canoes and kayaks available, all in good working condition. We worked while we were there and the Wi-Fi worked great! We definitely would go back again. Beautiful views!
The cabin is nicely situated with great views of the lake. Perfect for two but would be a little tight for 4. But you are only sleeping indoors. Outdoors is where you want to be here
The cabin was cozy, clean, worked for our short vacation to see friends in St Cloud. We were so thankful for the ..heat available as it was bit chilly one night.as
Great location, small cabin, dangerous deck, teeny bathroom
The location is fantastic---the lake beautiful. Loons day and night. MN beautiful. And we weren't fishing, but it looked like others were doing OK. The kayaks were great, as was the fire pit. The deck is dangerous because it has no railings on it. My granddaughter fell off and got a pretty significant bruise on her forehead. The cabin is OK. Beds are good, kitchen has almost no storage for food, other than refrigerator. We ended up with groceries in one of the bedrooms. It worked OK for us because the weather was beautiful and we spent all of our time out of doors. It would be pretty bad for a rainy day. The bathroom is teeny, tiny without even a hook for towels. The shower would all of sudden turn freezing cold. The owner is rigid and rather difficult. He charged me $140 for an extra guest--- although he claimed under 2 were free, he never offered to refund my money. Then 10 days after we checked out, he charged $75 cleaning fee for a coffee spill and ink marks on a couch---I did not see the "ink marks" while we were at the cabin and could not open the photos he sent via the VRBO website, so I don't know. He also claims gratuity for the cleaners is not expected despite what the sign on the refrigerator says. He promised retaliation in terms of a bad review of me if I wrote this review.
We enjoyed being right on the lake. Watching the loon family was a highlight! Appreciated having access to kayaks, rowboats and a canoe. Place was clean and beds were comfortable!
We had a wonderful relaxing Family weekend. . The cabin and property is so beautiful and clean. The lake is great for boating and floating, it is so clean.
We all had a good time staying at this resort. Very nice to have A/C even though we were camping so to speak. The bathroom was pretty small but we made do.
Me and my brother rented 2 cabins to spend quality time with our family and reminisce about our younger years on the lake. We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and well organized. Would definitely stay again!
We booked this for a friends weekend away. It was the perfect size for 4 girls! Nice to have the kayaks/boats for something to do on the lake and the fire area was nice for a relaxing wind down at the end of the night. The cabin was very clean and a great, quiet location. We would definitely book this cabin again.
We loved this cabin and location. Very clean cabin that was well equipped with all the kitchen items you need for the week. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. There was 3 of us that stayed in the cabin (2 adults and a 12yr old). It was just the right size for us, anymore people and I would have felt cramped, but it is rated for 6! We brought our fishing boat and was able to keep it at the dock. The water level was low so we had to be cautious but the water was clear and nice to swim in. The fishing was great. Our son caught a 5Lb bass and that was the highlight of his trip! The cabin has kayaks that we used, which was a fun experience. Grass lake was a nice lake to kayak in. We also fished that lake in the morning and and evening. Definitely a great little vacation and wished we had stayed longer! Paul was very easy to get a hold of!
We only stayed for a few days, but it was great. We loved the location, we hiked local parks, and used the kayaks as much as we could. The canoes, boats, kayaks are shared with the other cabin, so we had to wait a few times to use them, but it worked out fine. The cabin is small with a really small bathroom, but the beds are very comfortable. We slept well and spent our days exploring. We would definitely stay there again.
We didn't know we weren't able to use pool or swimming beach until we arrived. Due to what unit we stayed in. Didn't find that out until looking at property map
We had a great time at the resort. It was very hot the days we were there, but the AC unit and fans worked great and kept us cool. We enjoyed the canoe and paddle boat and some light fishing off the dock. Perfect size for our small family of 3 and will keep in mind for the future!
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our few days vacation. Easy access to kayaks, canoe and rowing boats for fishing. We kayaked every day on both lakes, just wonderful and quiet. The weather during our stay was way too cold for September with some rain, but it did not matter to us. The cabin has heating and a huge window looking out to the lake. A great opportunity for us to recharge and play board games, read a book, watch the loons or just bundle up and enjoy the outdoors. The fire pit is great, nice sitting area looking out to the lake, we enjoyed that a lot. Everything looks like on the photos. Annandale is not far and a nice town for grocery shopping and has great places for getting a coffee, lunch or dinner. Wonderful place and location, we loved it.
We enjoyed the boating options that came with the cabin. The morning breeze and views are lovely. We would recommend this cabin and hope to visit again in the future.
