Great get away spot

We loved our short stay and wish we had the time to stay longer! The place was in a great location, beds were comfortable, and communication was great. The beach was nice, short walk, and very private. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property with private beach access

It was a lovely property with a few minutes walk to the beach. Loved the access via tram to private beach, which is not large but perfect size. Kitchen is well stocked. Yard with privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

What a perfect place to getaway! Comfortable beds, plenty of room, a hot tub, outdoor shower, beach supplies and a tram to a semiprivate beach!! It was beyond perfect and had everything you could possibly need!

Great ending!

We had family in from Slovenia to visit us in to see the Indy 500 and other activities. It was a long but rewarding week and I was hoping that they would have a nice and relaxing last evening. We decided to show them one more part of the US before they went on a long journey home and South Haven hit the spot. The home was very comfortable and well equipped with easy access to a nice private beach. I've seen many sunsets on Lake Michigan and this was one of the best.

Enjoyed our stay!

The hosts were very attentive. The location was very convenient to grocery store and downtown South Haven. The house was able to accommodate my husband & I along with my two sons, one daughter-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. Backyard was private and had enough seating for all of us. Nice touches were the fire pit and the hot tub.

Nice Little place

House is as pictured. There is one thing that really should be mentioned in the listing - the fireplace is currently inoperable. Honestly ,a fireplace was a requirement for the trip, so I was very disappointed when I got that information at the bottom of the check-in instructions instructions a couple days before the trip. They did say they are looking at options to get the fireplace working again. Offered late checkout because of the fireplace (which I didn't see until too late, but that's on me). Other than that, they do make note of a barn door in the master bedroom in the listing, but just a heads-up, it doesn't fully cover the opening. It seemed like there was an inch of space on each side. There were also some water deposits in the hall shower that made for an interesting experience, but they said they would get that taken care of soon. Overall, we had a good time. The house did seem clean especially compared to a couple other places we have stayed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans. The key to the tram was convenient for easily getting down to the lake. The outdoor fire box and furniture was nice. Really convenient to park in the garage since it was frosty a couple of mornings.

Amazing getaway

We had a wonderful time. Everything was exactly as stated in the write-up and then more. We’ve stayed in several Vrbo homes over the years and this one, hands-down, is the best. We’d definitely come back in a heartbeat. Cozy and comfortable. Also loved the close access to the lake and the tram was a hit with our kids.

Great getaway

This property is very well-kept; clean and inviting. The owner responds quickly to any questions. It was a perfect place for a belated birthday celebration for three sisters! Two of the three bedrooms are quite large, and there are soft fluffy towels in the bathrooms. 😊 We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family getaway

This place is as cozy as can be. Perfect a getaway for my family. Clean and spacious with a homey feel. And the fireplace, oh my. For a person who never had a fire place, it set a vibe and created great memories for my family and I (might want to have a fire extinguisher near, sorry just nervous dad thinking here). Communication was perfect and friendly. It’s a shot walk to the beach with beautiful views (even in March when we went). 24 hr Meijer is very close with any thing you could possibly need. Lots of towns near and close for many things to do for all walks of life. We are at pennyroyal near Saugatuck and I highly suggest it. My only grip is check time, kinda late but I still give it a five starrr. My kids cried when we left. Great times.

January in South Haven

Beautiful house just down the road from Lake Michigan. Nice up to date open living area with plenty of room. Kitchen was very nice with everything you could possibly need. The deck was huge....will have to visit again in the summer when we can enjoy it. We did see three deer wandering across the backyard one morning. The master bedroom was very large and comfortable as were the other bedrooms. We enjoyed our family time with our stay in South Haven and would stay at this location again. Thank you Katie for your hospitality.

Amazing place!

My husband, son & I booked this place as a last minute winter getaway and were THRILLED with our stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures show, and has all kinds of thoughtful touches that provide everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We were especially impressed with the luxurious quality of the bedding and towels - super soft sheets, tons of fluffy throw blankets, and I swear I've never felt towels that thick and soft in my life. My son loved cuddling into the guest bed and watching TV wrapped in a fluffy blanket- he said it was like a dream come true :) The location was amazing- half a block away from the lake, with access to this neat little tram that takes you down to the water's edge. It is also super close to South Haven and Saugatuck, giving you the best of all worlds. Finally, our hosts were incredibly kind and super responsive, making it clear that our enjoyment of the property was a priority for them. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this gem to anyone who wants a relaxing, luxurious experience in a fantastic part of Michigan. Great for couples and families with kids.
