Host was unresponsive to me and VRBO. I was disappointed as we were under the assumption that this unit is close to the waterfront. It is furthest from the beach and right next to the high rise. Every single wall, door and window covering has markings, patches where holes were, scuffs, and/or actual holes in them. There is no recliner and no rugs in any of the main living areas. One toilet seat almost slid off. The kitchen faucet isn’t fully attached. One table leg is extremely loose. Three outside chairs have rusted through and are unusable. We were quite nervous sleeping on the beds the first night wondering how clean they might be. We chose not to look until we left. I was in hospitality; I removed ALL the bedding to help the cleaners. Two of the mattresses have LARGE pee stains on them. Soaked all the way through. The other two mattresses have stains, but I’m uncertain what they are. This was our 9th visit to SPI so we are aware of the battles of salt water on properties. I would not suggest this place to anyone.This was my first time using VRBO so I won’t have any reviews. I can share my other review from another app, same resort, different unit and host. Five stars and stated how I left the place in PRISTINE condition.Afterwards, this host charged me 200 for ONE soiled mattress. The mattress protectors were clean, but he refused to believe me or the pictures I took. I documented EVERYTHING. Can’t get my items I left returned. I’m sure he’ll have a response.

Family Summer vacation

The unit was as in the pictures and mostly clean except the unit was left open , the key was left on the kitchen counter , the trash disposal was clogged and dirty and the glass shower door was loose, made it dangerous for anyone to shower. Also it was on the beach but still far to walk. The unit description is not to clear on how far it is to walk for older people like me with back problems.

Needs some work

It was very challenging to open the corroded lock box. Also both doors were a challenge for the entire stay as they both are very corroded. The WiFi did not work the entire visit. The main TV in the living room was not able to be used as it only worked on WiFi. We tried to reach out to the owner which was no help. He told us the last group didn't complain (ouch). We called maintenance and they sent someone that did not speak english but we were able to communicate with each others using our phone translators. He concluded the Arris cable modem was dead. No lights came on regardless of where he plugged it in. We communicated this to the owner and his comment was VRBO will take care of this. Well, here's your chance. We enjoy watching something together as a family at the end of the day but were unable to. My wife reached out to the owner several times asking what he was going to do and he had zero interest in helping us. Customers need to be treated better.

Great Labor Day weekend!

We just got back from our trip, all went well. Pool is literally two steps away. If you are sitting outside the back you can see the pool that was very nice. Beach access was super easy walk. Beds were super comfy! The only thing I would say was it needed a fresh paint but other than that it was so comfortable and a lot of space! Host was very nice and answered any question I had. You won’t regret booking this room.

Condo by the pool

The condo could have been cleaned better. The refrigerator was not cooling when we check in but was cooling the next day. It could definitely use a coat of paint on the inside. The dishwasher was not working and full of stagnant awful smelling water. It did have a full washer and dryer which was very nice. Besides the dishwasher not working and the small issue with the refrigerator it was a nice condo. It has a grill and a patio that is right by one of the pools. A very large kitchen with air fryer and everything you need to cook a meal for a large group. Both rooms where large with two queen size beds in each. Undated bathrooms with very nice large walk in showers. No bathtub for little ones. We would rent here again after confirming that the dishwasher is fixed.

Great but missing a few things

This is a nice little condo. We have stayed at Bahia Mar multiple times and we love the resort. The description states there are basic pantry items available. However, the pantry was locked and there were none in cabinets. We had to go purchase dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, salt, pepper, and other seasonings. Making another trip to the store took away time from plans. There were only 5 towels, another item listed to be provided, in a condo with 7 people. All of these things would have been fine if we had expected to bring our own but the listing says they're available. The owner was prompt and responded to messages pretty quickly. In all, I would stay here again making sure I'm better prepared.

Great unit for families

The unit was large, our family of 7 was quite comfortable. Patio door practically opens out to the swimming pool. Parking close proximity to front door. Unit is clean and quiet. No view of the ocean. Unit comes with towels (1/guest) but is not stocked with basics (e.g., dish soap, dishwasher pods, coffee filters). Kitchen has wide array of cooking/baking utensils and pots/pan, so good there. Water on the island was not great, so bought a large water jug and ice. Wifi was okay, a bit spotty during popular hours.

Needed something ASAP and we weren’t disappointed at all the pool was walking distance and the beach was a little farther away but stil incredible view we even got to see the amazing fireworks on Friday and Saturday from there was just amazing. We will be renting here again.

Great Time

Location was perfect. A few steps to one of the pools. Easy access to the beach which was private to guests. We had an issue with the refrigerator and fire alarm but maintenance quickly resolved. We spent the majority outside pool, beach and strolls. We did get to use the large TV for movie night which was nice. Beds were comfy plenty of blankets and towels. Only thing I would recommend is a fresh new coat of paint other than that the place was perfect for a large family. Both rooms were large. We all enjoyed every moment. Thanks and hope to be back.

Nice place to stay for the pools and beach

We had a great stay for our vacation. Our kids loved the beach and pools, and the property was nicely updated and very comfortable. Some factors that made this a good choice for us are listed below Covid-19 Pandemic Friendly 1. On the beach -- It was convenient to get the family and gear to the beach with minimal hassle. Easy to maintain social distancing on the beach. 2. Two large pool areas -- Great options for kids to go swimming and not be in a crowded or small pool area. 3. First floor -- No need to use a shared elevator or have to lug our things up flights of stairs. It is also close to the parking lot. 4. Fully equipped kitchen -- Easy to cook or order take out to eat in. It was also nice to eat out on the patio area. 5. TVs in every room -- Extra screen time on vacation, and kids can watch what interests them. Large TV in the living area was a smart TV which provided options for Internet content. 6. Masks for property staff -- Staff was friendly and wore masks. Nice Property 1. Fully equipped -- Condo unit was nicely updated and had everything we needed. We brought the standard supplies needed for a short-term rental so we didn't need to run to the store for anything that was missing. 2. Easy to stay clean -- Floors have smooth shiny tiles, and a broom in the closet helped to keep things tidy. Shower head and low faucets at both beach access points are quite convenient for cleaning up after time at the beach. Floor mat under the couch had some sand, however that was expected since it is hard to clean for a beach front property. 3. Convenient location -- Close to the city, and in/out access was fine. There is a security guard to enter, and with the hang tag on the mirror they let you in when they see it. While this unit is further from the beach than most other units in the complex, the walk was pleasant through the resort-like property. 4. Good security -- The entire property is fenced in, and with a manned station for the entrance helped make things feel secure. On the beach side most of the time we saw they have someone stationed to check for wristbands. 5. Responsive property owner -- The property owner was quick to respond via the VRBO messaging system. There were a few minor maintenance issues consistent with a short-term rentals, which he said he will take care of which shows his diligence in maintaining the property. Overall, this was a very good choice for my family, and we had a great stay and vacation.

El departamento cuenta con todo lo necesario el Lugar es amplio, limpio, tiene todas las comodidades, cable, tv, wifi, utensilios de cocina, lavadora, secadora, cerca de la alberca me parece una excelente opcion.
