Bucksport is only 15 mins in the opposite direction where you can get food, groceries, there is a CVS pharmacy should you need it and if your kids really want McDonalds that is there as well. But there is a Steak house just up the road, there are 2 traditional Dairy Isle type restaurant w seafood ...

„Except for the miscommunication about check-in (which, I think is more the fault of VRBO and not our host), the stay was perfect! Just far enough out of Bar Harbor to enjoy feeling like we were out in the countryside, but close enough to both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to enjoy both destinations to the fullest! Erin was extremely helpful and quickly responded with kindness and hospitality to every question. Would definitely book again.“
