steep stairs, should have a gate at top of stairs. Not for young children. also parking lot next door is Not for public and watch on street parking, we got a ticket. really a very nice place, great location. thanks!

Girls Get Away

After four nights of tenting and five days of touring and hiking, we stayed in Spearfish in this Beautiful home for two nights. It was quite comfortable, and well stocked. We had a problem with the Internet connection and being able to access channels on the TV and the host replied and took care of the problem very promptly. It’s Next-door to the Black Hills Salt Cave And Spa. We Spent a morning getting treatments and sitting in the salt cave and infrared sauna. It was amazing And quite affordable. Mention that you’re staying next-door and you will get a 10% Discount on your spa services. I would definitely stay here again!

Apartment in the heart of downtown

Very convenient location - we could walk to everything in Spearfish. We loved that! It took a bit to find the entrance and figure out where to park. The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Good wifi and well stocked bathroom.

Poor communication

My family rented this place for Easter weekend and requested an 11am check-in at the time of booking, which was granted. Unfortunately, when we arrived we hadn't received the door code to enter and it took two hours of calling, texting and emailing (including Redawning) to get the code. When we did get in at 2pm, thanks to the front desk employee at the attached business and not the hosts, one bed had pulled sheets from the previous guest and towels on the floor in the bathroom. The cleaner showed up soon after we got in and said that she was never told about an early check-in. Despite the rough check-in and the dirty linens the location of this property is awesome. It's in walking distance to everything we wanted to do in the city of Spearfish.

Great location within walking distance to every coffee shop, boutique, brewery, ice cream shop and antique store in downtown Spearfish! Great communication with the host and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend with Grandkids!

We needed a place to have the grandkids for the weekend. I had two daughters fly in for a wedding. Perfect location for this. Church was a 2 minute walk. We walked downtown with the kids Friday night for the street dance. The next day we took them to the fish hatchery and the park. I would recommend this place if you want to enjoy downtown Spearfish and the surrounding area. We loved it and the host was spot on with communications! Everything went perfect. Thank you for a great weekend!

Made Reservations, Charged Then Couldn't Get In!

Made reservations, my card was charged, I was given Code to the lock box. It wouldn't work, messaged the owner. NO RESPONSE. Thinking of might have been a typographical error we tried different numbers. The box opened, NO KEY! I messaged the owner several times and still no answer. DON'T MAKE A RESERVATION THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU CAN'T GET IN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
