« An exceptional stay. We enjoyed this property thoroughly. Ample room, well outfitted, and WELL managed! I appreciate quality communication and the host was exceptional. Frequent check in and responsive to any needs. We used the local pickleball court multiple times (brought our own gear for that). The ping pong table was huge hit between my kids, momma, and my dad. « We came to visit my father in law who has been battling cancer. We really wanted to get him out of the house but he’s not able to travel far (he lives in Killeen). This home was perfect! The home was clean, accommodating, and comfortable. The view was beautiful, the river was a blast to swim in and it was lovely to watch the wildlife every day. This was just what we needed! I would definitely come again. »

« This place was very clean and comfortable but we could not get over the smell of the water. Ruined a great stay. The smell was so bad we could not shower. We showered the first day and wretched the entire time, literally made me sick. The smell is a sickening sulfur smell. Was told it is because it’s well water but I have well water and have never had this problem. We had other friends stay in town and they didn’t not experience the same problem either. « My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the Wimberly area. The cabin was ready, clean and comfortable and the fenced area around the cabin was perfect for our senior dog! We also used the hot tub multiple times and greatly enjoyed the starry nights with much less light pollution than we are used to living near Dallas. I also enjoyed walking/hiking on the 60 acres surrounding the cabin. If you are seeking peace and quiet just a short drive from Wimberly, this is your place....
